you should also have the ghoul girls reunite with the treasure group at the showboat. you can have the girls split up and stay with the rest of the group. for instance. winnie can bunk with dixie and missy. sybella can bunk with velma, etc.

well shaggy can try and escape from the fort only to find the doors are locked. and the ghoul girls can spend some time talking with their bunkmates once they join them. so for instance dixie and nora are discussing stage plays, so winnie can talk about some of the werewolf themed plays she's seen with her folks. sybella can talk about her father, and his love for the Transylvanian funny papers. and so on and so on

i'll set things up so you can pick them up after you get back from your trip, without them being in the ether somewhere. they'll be on Dixie's showboat the group travels up and down the river looking for more caches.
