Since the Harlem Globetrotters starred in 3 episodes of Scooby in 1972 and 1973, I thought this was interesting. The Harlem Globetrotters' player Curly posted an article on his website"Top 7 things that have happened in my life." Curious, I decided to check it out.
Suprisingly, though, Curly put this as #7- "Being on one of my favorite shows, The New Scooby Doo Movies" He said that "Mystery of Haunted Island" was the most fun voice acting that he had done ever in a TV series!
I tried to post a video that he also posted about doing voice work for Scooby, but when I tried to put it on here, it said I was violating privacy rights for some reason. If you go to the Harlem Globetrotter website, it should come up.

Wait, an actual member of the Globetrotters voiced his animated counterpart? I thought all of those guys were voiced on Scooby Doo and the Globetrotters cartoon by voice actors and not by the actual Globe Trotters.

That's neat that voicing his character on The New Scooby Doo Movies was one of the top things in his life.
