A new Scooby Doo episode made specifically for DVD will be featured on the upcoming DVD Scooby's All-Star Laff-A-Lympics: Spooky Games, which will be out July 17.
According to Warner Home Video, in the episode a 1,000-year-old statue comes to life and threatens the World Invitational Games, which the gang just happens to be attending.
It will be on disc 1 of a two disc-set, with 12 episodes of Laff-A-Lympics featured as well.

By the way, I saw on Toonzone Forums(which is a pretty reliable site) that the Scooby Doo and the Spooky Games episode will air on Saturday July 28th on Cartoon Network at 6:30 PM.
Considering the Scooby Doo episode's plot, I would imagine Cartoon Network is going to air it because of the Summer Olympics in London, whose opening ceremonies is July 27th.
