I'd love a show with Daphne, Scrappy, Scooby and Shaggy again. TNSDMysteries was great and that formula hasn't been tried for a while. I'd like a show with just Shaggy, Scooby and Velma.

I'm sort of surprised no one has thought of a Scooby Doo TNG for a spin-off. It would allow new faces for the team too. I'm currently writing a fanfiction series starring the gang's kids.

I would pick Velma as it would be nice to see mysteries take centre stage more often. If she had to pair up I would say either with Daphne or Hot-Dog Water (Marcy from SD:MI). Hot Dog Water. That would definitely be an interesting combination. I'd watch it. Mark I'd team her up with her sister, Madelyn.

I definitely plan to use Madelyn at some point this season.

Which characters should I try to squeeze in this season?

Try solving the mystery of episode two before I write the third and final act. Many of the clues have already been laid out: Attachments:02 Dopplegang-Up.docx (25.44 KB)

While I don't hate Scrappy, I don't know that everyone would be fond of him, even after him missing for so long. Sure, you could have him occasionally, but it's still a risk I don't think Warner Bros will take. The trick is to only use him in like one episode a year. That way his fans get to see him and his detractors can ignore him.

More recent appearances of Scrappy have been pretty ok actually. In 2002, he was voiced by Scott Innes which odly enough I love. Sure, all his scenes sucked hard and all his lines were awful and the CGI was unholy, but the way Innes did the voice, felt convincing. His appearance in Scooby Apocalypse is cool too. Recent iterations of Scrappy make him villainous and I think that's the right way to go about this, seeing as how many people hate the character. While Scrappy is a jerk, he has a soft side which you see when he takes Cliffy into the pack. I think if we give it a few more years Scrappy could make a come back, in the form of an anti-hero. Not necessarily a villain but not a protagonist either, kinda like he is in Apocalypse. I'd rather see him as he was in the series (a helpful hero worshipper) just less often. basically as an occasional guest star. He and Yabba along with Dusty could show up on rare occasions and visit Scooby and the gang. Conversely Scooby and the gang could go visit them every so often. Dusty owning a Doo could be explained by revealing him to be another one of Shaggy's cousins.

Also isn't it true that if you commit a serious enough crime as a child that as soon as you get out of Juvenile Hall you get put on trial as an adult for it?

This episode is rather unbelievable. Two small children could never have pulled this off.

I still wish Scooby could have met Abbott and Costello or the Marx Brothers.
