Simple question, n'est ce pas? For me it's Nicole Jaffe, the first to bring Velma to the dance, and Mindy Cohn a very close second.

I'm sorry, but what just happened? Was my post about the Velma voices changed to this one with the poll? Please clarify, thank you.

To me, Nicole Jaffe is THE Velma. Maria Frumkin wasn't a good Velma to me. But Pat Stevens and Mindy Cohn are also pretty good (though Mindy's Velma sounds more like Mandy from "The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy.") Hmm... I seem to recall one or two "What's New Scooby-Doo" episodes where Mindy Cohn was absent, so Grey DeLisle had to fill in for Velma, and she did a rather decent job. Christina Lange was also perfect for the young Velma. I also liked her performance as Sister Bear in the 1980s "Berenstain Bears" animated series (by H-B's Australia division) and Sally in "This is America, Charlie Brown: The Birth of the Constitution."

I picked Nicole Jaffe, and wasn't this just posted in the "Characters" section of the forum?

Ah, my bad. I did see it there and got caught up in other things that it slipped what alledges to be my mind. Mea culpa.

I'm copying and pasting this from the thread in the "Characters" section:
Nicole Jaffe was awesome as the original, I just wish she could have stayed with the character a little longer. Pat's voice for Velma was not so good, but it was tolerable. Marla Frumkin's voice was truly terrible and clearly the worst. Christina did great on A Pup Named Scooby-Doo. B.J. Ward was good. Mindy Cohn has a great voice for Velma and I'm glad she took over the role.

Mindy for me. How does Kate not make it into these polls? The poll was set up on 2011 so Kate wasn't on the radar then.
