There is a freelance artist, Jeremy Treece, who is doing ball point pen sketches of whatever you want! They are $15 for one character. I bought 2 sketches from him, both of which I got to watch him draw live in uStream! That is the kewlest thing ever! I haven't received the sketches yet, but you can see them here: Scooby - twitpic.com/4i14u2 Scooby/Shaggy/MM - plixi.com/p/90363821Jeremy Treece can be contacted at: Twitter: @jeremytreece Email: crisis.hour@gmail.comWebsite: www.jeremytreece.com/Jeremy does work for Marvel, Upper Deck, Topps, Lucas Film Ltd. and other companies.

That's an interesting take on the characters. Has an original feel to them. They seem more relaxed and less-scared somehow. Must not be any ghost's around. Thanks for posting the links. Mark

Ok, so it's 4 days shy of a month since I paid for these ball point pen sketches and I still haven't received them. Is it just me being impatient or do you think he should have sent them by now? I've asked him about it several times, but haven't gotten a response in a few weeks. I could try to fight it through PayPal too. Opinions??

He hasn't responded to me personally, but he finally posted something on his blog that he doesn't have the money to ship the sketches out, even though he had us all pay for shipping. He used all the money on his house, and now we have to wait until he can afford to ship them. I'm not sure how I feel about it, but at least I know he plans on sending them out sometime.

Well, that wasn't very professional of him to begin with, but at least he's keeping you all up to date.

Mark I agree...I'm feeling kind of like I shouldn't have given him money for the sketches in the first place, and yet they are really kewl and I look forward to getting them. Still, if I took someone's money and promised them a website, and then a month later told them I didn't have time to work on it or something else came up, that wouldn't be too good for my business reputation. I'm just torn on the whole situation!

They are signed by the artist who did them. His info is in the first post if your interested in buying any from him. He may not send them for a while, but it's worth it!
