I had no idea she was in the hospital either! I'm really glad that she's recovering so well, and I hope it's a speedy recovery for her!

She said she's never even smoked and has no idea what caused it. It's good they caught it early.

She said she's never even smoked and has no idea what caused it. It's good they caught it early. That's good. It could've been secondhand smoke that caused it, since it can also be dangerous. If they need another Velma during her recovery time, they could always have Mindy Cohn voice her, since she's nowadays the "backup" Velma voice, the way Scott Innes is the "backup" Scooby and Shaggy, after she had breast cancer treatment.

I hope she has a speedy recovery 🧡
She grew up in Nazareth, PA, which has a huge cement plant. I know several people that have gotten weird cancers and illnesses that grew up there. I used to live there, and literally our cars were always covered in cement dust. You could wash your car and within a couple hours it was covered again. I'm not saying that is what caused her cancer, I just wonder if that could have contributed.
