The festivities for Scoobtober 2023 have been announced by Romper. www.romper.com/entertainment/scooby-doo-and-krypto-too-exclusiveCartoon Network will be adding Scooby-Doo to their lineup again every day through October. Every weekday at 3:30pm CST, an episode of What's New, Scooby-Doo? will be aired. On the weekends, CN will be airing a Scooby-Doo movie on Saturdays at 2:30pm CST and Sunday morning at 8:00am CST. In addition, on October 1, Cartoon Network will be having a Scooby movie marathon to kick off Scoobtober. Loch Ness Monster will air at 8:00am CST, Monster of Mexico at 9:30am CST, Where's My Mummy? at 11:00am CST and Goblin King at 12:30pm CST. Similar to the old Scooby-Doo Halloween marathons that would air on Cartoon Network in the 90s, the WB Kids YouTube channel is reviving that concept. On October 27 at 3:00pm CST through October 29 at 3:00pm CST, the WB Kids YouTube channel will be airing Scooby episodes and films for 48 hours straight. No schedule for this marathon has been released yet.

While there is still room for improvement. It is nice to see flashes of the Old Cartoon Network slowly coming alive again. Several years ago we would have thought Scoobtober on main Cartoon Network was a pipe dream.

Oh wow! On YouTube? Very nice. I'm marking my calendar for that weekend.
Also, Vudu has a "Scoobtober" sale right now too. I picked up HD versions of Ghoul School, Zombie Island, & Witch's Ghost as part of the 3 for $5/ea deal. iTunes has Boo Brothers in HD for $5 as well. They all port into Movies Anywhere fine, all together to watch. Gonna be a fun Halloween!

Yesss, I've just been watching through my Scooby Doo Where Are You bluray set in honor of Scoobtober, and hopefully I can make it to the New Scooby Doo Movies bluray in the month. But if not, i guess my Scoobtober will just have to be extended

So far I've watched the episodes "The Headless Horseman of Halloween", "To Switch a Witch" and "A Halloween Hassle in Dracula's Castle", and last night I watched "Scooby-Doo and the Ghoul School" to celebrate its' 35th anniversary, the HD restoration seen on Vudu. It looks fang-tastic! Also, since I now have a fox fursona (in addition to my main wolf fursona), in addition to Scoobtober, I'm also celebrating Foxtober! So thanks to my split-screen Photoshop magic, here is Sam Valentino, private toon detective, with fellow mystery-solving toon canine Scooby-Doo! Yep, I bought a Scooby Snacks-shaped crossbody bag at Spirit Halloween. I can even fit a box of Kellogg's Scooby-Doo cinnamon graham cracker sticks into the bag, making a handy cosplay prop! eeHEEheeheeheeheeheehee!

So the Scooby Snacks prop is a bag that fits around a normal box?! Very nice.

We have a Spirit Halloween that rolls into town just for Halloween here. I found a 20% coupon so I may check that place out tomorrow. They may have a metal Ghostbusters "investigator" badge in stock...

Found it! They also had the Scooby snack bags in stock. They're like a mini backpack, shaped as a Scooby Snacks box!

I just browsed the schedules for Tuesday and it looks like the vast majority of the schedules on both Cartoon Network and Boomerang is Halloween and/or monster themed episodes of nearly every show. Barring some of the ones that don't have much to pick from in that regard. Which I think is some pretty sweet old school vibes there. We have people in the programming room that cares more again.
Cartoon Network has: Scooby Doo and Guess Who at 12:00PM and 12:30PM
Boomerang has: A Pup Named Scooby Doo at 9AM The Scooby Doo Show at 2PM and 2:30PM The New Scooby Doo Mysteries at 3PM What's New Scooby Doo at 3:30PM Scooby Doo Where Are You at 8PM Be Cool Scooby Doo at 12:30AM Happy Halloween Scooby Doo at 1:00AM
All times EST.
