Can be for better or worse... I'll give an example of both for mine:
Better - Undoubtedly it's "Nowhere to Hyde". I reckon a few years ago this would've been battling for my least favourite WAY episode, whereas now it's sneaking its way into the top half of my ranking. No idea why my take has changed so much on this classic episode but I feel like I fully appreciate just how great a mystery (and season opener) it truly is, nowadays.
Worse - Sad to say but it's "Jeepers it's the Creeper". It's certainly not had as much of a swing as my previous pick but I kinda don't think it holds up as this all-timer Scooby-Doo episode - It's just decent. The Creeper himself is absolutely an iconic foe and drags the episode along brilliantly but there's not actually all that much happening. After the chase song I feel the episode fizzles out fast with the Hermit red herring being the showcase of that. Fantastic villain but the episode itself isn't that special imo.

Better - "The Backstage Rage." I never used to like this one as a kid because it felt like the villain wasn't as exciting or classic as many of the others, but I've grown to appreciate the extremely dark atmosphere of the episode over the years.
Worse - "Jeepers, It's the Creeper." I used to like this one, but I completely agree with your thoughts. It is a lot of running around and the mystery doesn't feel as well-developed as most other Where Are You episodes.

A lot of episodes have gotten even better for me from when I was a kid, but two stand out to me at the moment. The first being Foul Play in Funland. Used to be my least favorite of the series, but might not even be bottom 5 now. But in a similar situation, I think my pick for episode that has gotten better for me is Mystery Mask Mix Up. Don’t get me wrong, there are still a lot of flaws in this episode (including at least one CERTAIN scene that wouldn’t fly these days), but other than stuff like that, there is just a lot of CLASSIC stuff in this episode, including one of, if not my favorite chase scene in the franchise
As for which episode has gotten worse? Well, something has to take the spot as the worst in the series, and while I still have a lot to like about it, that unfortunate title now belongs to Decoy For a Dognapper. It really is messy even if I still like it overall

Better:A Gaggle of Galloping Ghosts .I thought of it as an average SDWAY episode, but nowadays I concider it in the top 5 of the series.
Worse:A Clue for Scooby Doo .I thought this was an ultimate classic, but now I think it is just a good SDWAY episode.

"Nowhere to Hyde" is now in my top 10, which is unbelievable really. For the longest time this was my least favourite of S2 but nowadays it's one of my go-to episodes. It's a Scooby Mystery firing on all cylinders and I've genuinely no idea why I slept on it for over a decade!

There were a few episodes that were aired and pressed to disc so many times that I got sick of them. Doo kept a running count of them from what I recall. I like them now that they're not overly aired.

Yep scoobysnax1.weebly.com/episode-releases-database.html The current highest is "Hassle in the Castle" which has been surprisingly released on 27 different sets.

Spooky Space Look with a measly 9 releases is a big surprise. I'm wondering if that's only risen to become a HUGE fan favourite in recent years. I don't remember it getting much exposure on Cartoon Network in the early 2000's either (at least in the UK).

I don't remember it getting much exposure on Cartoon Network in the early 2000's either (at least in the UK). It's weird. I feel like from what I've seen, Spooky Space Kook was in fact considered to be a huge favorite even back then... but it seems WB missed the message early on. It wasn't played very much on Boomerang or Cartoon Network here in the US either. In comparison, while Hassle in the Castle is obviously a well regarded classic and an iconic episode, that one was both played all of the time and released constantly and I don't think I've seen the very most fanfare for that episode otherwise in comparison to episodes like Jeepers It's the Creeper, A Night of Fright Is No Delight, or Spooky Space Kook, then or now. I used to have it dead last in my rankings YEARS ago because it was released so much. I had Original Mysteries, Greatest Mysteries, Creepiest Capers, and Spookiest Tales on DVD before I got the box set, and I was really frustrated that I could've had like 2 other episodes instead of Hassle In The Castle three times for some reason. I had Original and Greatest mysteries first, so getting Creepiest Capers and it being on there for a third time was so infuriating to me back then lol

By the way, A Clue For Scooby Doo is missing from the list at the top of the page Fixed, thank you for pointing that out! I apologize if it seems like I’m nitpicking, but I also noticed That’s Snow Ghost should be on there, and that A Night of Fright Is No Delight only has 14 releases listed

I apologize if it seems like I’m nitpicking, but I also noticed That’s Snow Ghost should be on there, and that A Night of Fright Is No Delight only has 14 releases listed No worries, you're not nitpicking at all! I want this to be as correct and up-to-date as possible so I always appreciate you or anyone else pointing out if something's incorrect. I actually just added the list at the top yesterday, as I was inspired by the phrasing of Ark's comment and thought it would be cool to have a running list at the top of the most released episodes. Clearly I should have checked it over better, so I appreciate you pointing it out! For "A Night of Fright Is No Delight," I have no idea why the number was so off on that one. I looked back in an archive of the site that I keep, and it looks like the number has been wrong since 2022, so that's super weird. I fixed it now though, thank you!

I also did notice the Kids Favorites Mini DVD when looking at A Night of Fright Is No Delight, and I believe there are some more of those that are missing in the listings. There is a Kids Favorite for Original Mysteries that includes What a Night For a Knight and Hassle in the Castle that I don't see listed for either As well as Kids Favorites for Scooby Doo Meets Batman and Scooby Doo Meets the Harlem Globetrotters which contain Caped Crusader Caper and Mystery of Haunted Island respectively
