WB to be investigated by the DOJ

While there's no precident for reversing a merger, members of Congress are sending the DOJ to investigate this merger. At the very least, this could amount to less large-scale mergers being approved of in the future. WB has a history of large mergers and it seems that really only half work out good.

Well, FINALLY! I hope something good comes out of this!
Since I was at Anime Boston cosplaying as my private toon detective fox 'sona, Sam Valentino, when the news was dropped, I couldn't resist replying to the Tweet about it this way, especially since David Zaslav is to Sam Valentino the way Professor Moriarty is to Sherlock Holmes, or Judge Doom to Roger Rabbit and Eddie Valiant.

I wouldn't get my hopes up too high. But, since the whole reason this was reportably done was for tax breaks, if it turns out they can't get the tax breaks after all, there would be a large incentive to release it all.
