Perhaps the coolest thing is that you could design your own characters, print them onto light cardstock, and put them into extra wobble bases. It hints at further papercraft projects you could do while maintaining a playmobile-compatible scale. I'm impressed what the designers came up with for a low-budget fast food playset.

That's really adorable! I love the playsets Wendy's makes. With the making other characters idea thing, I had a similar idea with a Scooby-Doo board game I have (Betrayal at Mystery Mansion). I was planning on making character pieces for Crystal and Amber (On one side their disguised forms and the other their alien forms)

I think someone on BGG (boardgamegeek) made ones of Josie & the Pussycats for that game, too. I'll see if I can find those. I also found the Fred/Space Kook playset unopened recently!
