Who knows. This is the same company that has scrapped three completed Scooby-Doo movies and also the completed Gumball movie. They have no soul. This is insane to me. They're frittering profits away for savings that won't recoup near as much. What is wrong with this frankenstein of a merged company?

Supposedly Zaslav was lied to about the amount of debt WB had as well as the streaming disinterest that hit once Covid policies subsided. I don't know if is true but I want to believe there's some kind of logic still operating WB.

Someone internal at WB leaked a bunch of the Mystery Pups storyboard animatics from episodes 1, 7 and 13, as well as an animatic with a song and the audio of that song. The leak was posted along with the message "This show didn't deserve to be cancelled!" on 4chan. Morale at WB must be really bad right now if so many folks are leaking content. This is definitely unprecedented territory for the franchise to have so many leaks, especially just a few days from each other. It will be interesting to see if the leaking spree continues.
The storyboards revealed a couple of things: the puppies were named Duke, Kristi, Piper, Daisy, Mac, Gemma, and Duke. There was also a head counselor character named Dr. Dancy. The storyboards also mention the camp has "Moose" in the name, which could mean they were going to bring back Camp Little Moose from Camp Scare. One of the animatics also shows that the "mysteries" the pups solved were quite kiddish. The conclusion to one of the mysteries involving a mysterious voice was that one of the pups, Duke, was singing into his walkie-talkie that he'd accidentally left on.

I'm curious why they've chosen 4Channel for their leaks since I'm pretty sure Warner can just ask for their IP and link the payment address to an employee. A torrent through an unlogged VPN would have been a lot safer. Back when Moot ran 4Chan he was taken to court and had to divulge the identity of an anonymous poster. I hope the person doing these leaks realizes that. It is easily a multi-million-dollar fine for distributing unfinished content and hurting the brand name.
Camp Little Moose would have been neat, but yeah, it was meant to be a Dora type show.
Edit: I checked 4Channel's /co/ and there's nothing that would suggest a second leak there which tells me it either got a takedown or the second leak started somewhere else.

The conclusion to one of the mysteries involving a mysterious voice was that one of the pups, Duke, was singing into his walkie-talkie that he'd accidentally left on. I mean, I get it and understand it. A lot of content, particularly Scooby Doo content, that was either well into development (this show, Haunted Holiday which was so developed it was already paid for so they finished it anyways, Haunted High Rise) or already developed (Scooby and Krypto) has been unceremoniously scrapped as nothing more than a tax write off, and people's hard work, work that would have been profitable, work that was many people's childhood dream jobs (seriously, to get to work on a Scooby Doo cartoon? How freaking awesome must that feel?) flushed down the toilet for the flimsiest and worst reasons of corporate executive type thinking, has got to gall and gall fiercely. These films looked good, this show looked good, these were all passion projects, people were (rightfully) proud of the work they had done. Everyone wanted to show it off, fans wanted to see it. And it's all wasted because of one merger and a penny pincher miser placed in charge.
If I were them, I'd want to leak whatever I have too. This, all of this, didn't deserve to be canceled for tax credits. This show, the various movies, all deserved to be seen. Instead, only the most un-Scooby like project has survived, and there's talk season two of that won't even air on WB's own streaming service!
I can't help but feel like Zaslav has a particular disdain for animation in particular. Only live action cancellation he's responsible for that I know of is Batgirl - which ngl, also hurts a lot because I'm a huge Batfamily fan too. Come to think of it, HBO Max won't even be airing the new Batman show either. I'm starting to think this guy just hates everything I'm a fan of. He'd probably cancel Sherlock Holmes, Godzilla, and Dracula too if WB owned the rights.
Edit: Also, this sounds adorable from the leaks. It's exactly the sort of thing I wanted when I said I'd like to see a show aimed for the pre-k set. I have a 17 month old niece now, and this is the sort of show I'd like to show her in a year or two when she's old enough to understand what the tv is. Right now she just likes glancing at it when there's bright colors on (my god she is so precious!).

I checked and as of making this post it's there, the 4Channel mods just archived the thread, I assume in hopes that less people would see the link to the leak.

I heard Mystery Pups also leaked in full? Leaked by the same person who leaked Krypto? Can anyone confirm?

Haunted High Rise was just about to enter the animation stage when it was scrapped, though they had finished all of the audio recordings. Right now, it's basically a radio drama or a podcast lol But I agree with everything else.

I mean, Discovery doesn't have to mean a disdain for animation in and of itself. Although clearly in this case it does...

Maybe Amazon or Netflix can pick up our Scooby Doo projects than.
Look at what Netflix is doing for Avatar the last Airbender after all.
We Scooby fans could talk with Amazon about this.
Any who just guess to show much the Batman staff cared about its fans and they stuck to their guns on that project.
