These 2 early series have a lot in common and have gifted us with more than a fair share of classic Scooby episodes.
Which is your personal favourite iteration of the cartoon, and why?

Though The Scooby-Doo Show is amazing with its dark plots and excellent villains, nothing beats the classic Where Are You for me.

Ah it’s actually kinda close, but it has to be Where are You
The Scooby Doo Show is amazing. It has some absolutely phenomenal episodes and it really takes a step up in creativity, at least in the first two seasons. Season 2 is particularly strong. It’s dark atmosphere is just perfect. Season 3 is weaker imo. It has excellent episodes of course (To Switch a Witch comes to mind) but it is just a step back from the first two, and is also a bit more bland than the next season of Scooby Doo and Scrappy Doo. Still a good and enjoyable season though
Where are You isn’t quite as exciting as the Scooby Doo Show because these are probably the episodes most of us have seen the very most. But it has to be one of the most consistently good series in maybe television history. It is just excellent, stuffed full of classics. So nothing comes ahead of Where are You for me

TSDS. Just the vibes. I can't explain it

TSDS, while I love how experimental WAY was with the burgeoning formula, and while I dislike how much focus Shaggy and Scooby got in TSDS, it just has the superior mysteries. WAY had the better monsters, but the mysteries were pretty basic.

I voted for The Scooby Doo Show mostly because I think it's still the best series for monster plotting and design. I'd even extend that to all the meddling kids series, I think Scooby Doo Show had some of the coolest monsters and sets up of all time.
