So I had not seen any Yabba Doo episodes in full, I had seen parts of the Runaway one but this was the first one I watched
So maybe that judgement is clouded as this is the only one I have seem, but the series seems like a poor man’s Quick Draw McGraw, which is one of my favorite cartoons. The format seems like it could work as a much lesser QDM, but this episode was NOT a good first impression
To put it bluntly, this episode was very sexist with the villain thinking that all women are good for are cooking and cleaning for him. And no one else ever does anything to disagree with that. They are just worried about stopping the villain who wants them to “give him a wife”. Heck, they even try to get women to do it, for crying out loud. This format has some level of potential but this episode was awful

I don't think the sexist content in this episode is representative of how the format usually is, but I totally agree with you that this episode was awful in that regard. The villain's thinking was so ridiculously sexist and there should have at least been an acknowledgement of that by the main characters. It wouldn't have to be in a cringey way, but the sexist should have been at least addressed or challenged in the episode, which they did not at all.
