At this point, how does it affect you if it's released for digital rental first? If you wait for them to put in theaters you would have to wait even longer. And with digital rental you only have to pay for movie rental. Provided your house is well stocked, you can have all the popcorn and soda you want for free. Other advantages include a possible lack of bratty children. You don't have to sit through those annoying Geico commercials or any of that screen vision garbage. Plus you can sit in a comfortable seat.

Ben, think of it this way: Scoob is set to be released virtually on May 15. That's only two weeks away! Not a long time to wait. I think watching some Scooby shows/movies would really help keep you busy in the meantime.

June 19, was when Pixar's Soul was supposed to come out, but then it got pushed back to November of this year. So clearly, June 19, seems like more likely for the date Scoob! should come out to theaters. It's just that this movie is set to start the Hanna Barberra Cinematic Universe. And it needs money from theaters to warrant that. I'm just sayin.

I get what you're saying, but being released virtually doesn't necessarily mean it won't do well monetarily; Trolls World Tour did better than expected based on rentals alone. I'm sure the same will be true with Scoob, especially when Scooby Doo has the name value to pull it off. I just want to be clear I'm not against this being released in theaters eventually, I just feel June is much too soon because of you know what. Also give you props with your understanding responses.

I heard Universal is leaving theaters. I wouldn't be surprised if other film companies start putting their movies on digital even after Covid 19.
