They were making fun of Mindy Cohn on What Not to Wear. It was horrible! They were laughing behind her back.

I personally can't stand those kinds of shows. Like 2 people really know what EVERYBODY in the whole world should wear or how they should look.
It usually amounts to someone losing everything that makes them look a little unique, and becoming a clone of everyone else.
So much for variety. OK, off my box.

I agree with you completely, and I don't watch those shows. I didn't even watch the one with Mindy Cohn, but they showed a clip on The Soup where the hosts were totally laughing at her behind her back. I was so annoyed by that. Who are they to say how people should dress? It was like they were in high school! And then you wonder why bullying is happening so much now-a-days in schools. These kids watch these shows and see how celebrities treat other people and they probably think it's kewl so they do the same thing.

That's really mean of the hosts. I'm personally glad I didn't watch it, and like ScoobyAddict and Ahkyahnan, I hate those kind of shows. I never watch them.

I have no use for shows like those. A waste of airspace. I always liked Mindy--not a svelte beauty but she's adorable.

I agree it sounds like they were quite mean to her. Bullying is a problem. I for one am mad that anyone would be willing to go on a show like that in the first place. Those type of shows should make it more clear that the people want to change. They should also not change so much. I feel bad that she felt she needed a wardrobe change. I hope she atleast got what she wanted out of it.

Mindy has something shows like those will never have--an Emmy nomination. She was nominated for Outstanding Voice in an Animated Program in 2005 for her role as Velma in What's New, Scooby Doo?. When the 2010-11 nominees are announced next month, I expect--or hope--to see Mindy nominated again.

I agree with everyone. I never have seen the show or the episode but it sounds like they were being disrespectful. It's not my kind of show if it's about bringing people in to have a makeover, while making fun of them behind their back.
