So the new Looney Tunes shirt have been announced and they’re being screened at a film festival in June. I hope this means we will get news of Guess Who soon. By the way, I noticed how they decided to take a cartoonist style of animation for this, which kinda is the same thing they’re doing with Scooby since their design looks very Foley and Animaniacs-like. We’ll see but I don’t doubt that could be the case since both cartoons have had the same type of reboots since Baby Looney Tunes and APNSD, then the more adult approach (SDMI and The Looney Tunes Show) and the return to more comedic leaned back episodes of Wabbit and Be Cool

Has the third season of Wabbit/New Looney Tunes been canceled and replaced with these shorts given the third season of Be Cool was also scrapped?

Has the third season of Wabbit/New Looney Tunes been canceled and replaced with these shorts given the third season of Be Cool was also scrapped? The third season was already completed, and they cancelled the series to focus on this new revival. According to Jerry Beck, this is to be somewhat akin to "The What-a-Cartoon Show" in production style. This could be fun! I'm also hoping for audio post-production they get Robert Hargreaves and DigiPost.TV to do it, as they seem to have the complete classic Treg Brown WB sound effects library in their archives, compared to Advantage Audio and their H-B sound effects, or Audio Circus (remember how they made the Road Runner zoom along to H-B jet sound effects?) Heck, the fact they got DigiPost.TV to work on "Scooby-Doo: Mystery Incorporated" and not "The Looney Tunes Show" was messed up. You had Scooby-Doo run off to the Warner Bros. spinning whistle sound, while Daffy Duck runs off to H-B's "temple block riot!" And if they have to have the animation done overseas (several "What-a-Cartoon" shorts did so as well), I hope they get Toon City Animation or Lotto Animation to do it, instead of just relying on Rough Draft Korea and Yearim Productions. Lotto Animation did a pretty good job animating Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner in "New Mexico, Old Monster," and it looked MUCH better than "The Looney Tunes Show" and "Wabbit!"

Interesting move to try and debut them at a film festival. Hope it goes well for them.
As far as the Scooby and HB side of properties I think we're going to be waiting on seeing how the reorganization plays out. (Namely if Cartoon Network, Boomerang, Adult Swim, Toonami and Crunchyroll stay in their current organizations or get rearranged). WB will probably want to burn off everything they've already had done that just hasn't aired yet before any big announcements on where their future is going.
For Wabbit/New Looney Tunes they just have to burn off airing the last season, they already had their new direction pre-announced, so why not go forward with now? Especially since their debut has nothing to do with the channels.
