I didn't think this idea when I made that post but I suppose it could also be possible they could reallocate money and time that was on the T&J DTV's to the new season of The Tom and Jerry Show. But that probably wouldn't affect whatever was already in the pipeline. Given with the Scooby projects we know there are already multiple things in line between the last one we have and the one currently being worked on.
Bringing this full circle, I was the one who raised the question back in the "new dtv" thread where we learned about Curse of the 13th Ghost, Return to Zombie Island and King Arthur, if the Scoobys and Tom and jerrys are done by the same production line or whether they were separate. It might be another possibility our break years of only one Scooby per year instead of two, and now a year without a Tom and Jerry were apart of them reorganizing their production routine.
Unfortunately though we're going to probably still have to wonder these same questions in another two years once the AT&T money catches up with the actual production. Unless of course they add another unit with it, as they can't really rush things too far than in some cases they probably already do.
Also while we're on the subject has there been anything on LinkedIn from one of the other people who worked on Return to Zombie Island that list WB Animation working on anything in that period of between Return to Zombie Island and King Arthur? Because just because that one guy wasn't there doesn't mean other people weren't working on something else. If there's like a Tom and Jerry or another Scooby or anything possible in there we might better understand some of the above questions.
