Scooby-Doo and the Gourmet Ghost is already out digitally if you guys want to watch it now. Not bad for a guest star movie, though i would have preferred an original movie.

The last few years, most of the Scooby Doo movies have been a crossover with a different franchise or famous celebrity.

Wouldn't be surprised if that was the case, though i don't think making majority of the movies crossover or featuring a guest star was smart move on their part. I feel this could lead to people getting quite bored of the crossover films and by the time Scooby Doo and Guess Who people won't have any interest.

From the conversations I've observed here and elsewhere, people already are very bored of the crossovers for that same reason. I agree it wasn't a smart move on their part.

Hopefully, for 2019 we get two originals films focused just on the gang. With it being the 50th anniversary for Scooby Doo I don't think they should make the movies crossovers. Should be the gang trying to solve their biggest mystery. Maybe if were lucky we might get another Zombie Island type of movie lol

Shaggy's Showdown was great, I was a bit disappointed when they went right back to the crossovers immediately after it. Hopefully the fact that Guess Who will begin sometime next year will allow them to take a break from the crossover movies for a while. And I agree, I would looove another Zombie Island type of film!

Shaggy's Showdown was such an amazing movie! It's crazy how the last 3 movies since Shaggy's Showdown have all been crossover. Will it ever end lol!
