What is a spider farm? It sounds terrifying! I have no idea but it does look like a UK style of road sign so perhaps it's something we do in the UK. Or it could be just the name of a farm.

Nah, that'll be all the nukes that dropped :-) You might want to check out the Shoddycast series on youtube, aside from a great law section they have discussions on the science behind various things (and normally why what's in the game makes no sense, like the lack of vegetation and greenery or jumping from nights in power armour. They do have a bit on radiation and mutations

They do have a bit on radiation and mutations Oh trust me I've seen Shoddycast's stuff. Such a good series, gets right into the lesser lore you may either overlook or simply never see because it's in one of the older games. Plus they have some good jokes at times to. Though even with their videos there's still stuff in Fallout which will never make sense, but hey that just makes the setting less depressing haha. Like Captain Ironsides of Fallout 4.
