Which cartoon era voices did you read the characters? I always hear the original, including Heather. It is strange to hear Heather's voice shout all the time though.

Here's a Variant of #1 and I can't find it anywhere to buy. It's half black and white and half colored. I asked Howard a while back and he had no clue.

Mine arrived int he post today. I liked how the variant covers had extra protective inserts inside their plastic sleeves.

They are all so good. Can't wait till June 15th in a little over two weeks for Issue #2. Still wishing the cover situation for #3 was more clear.

Back onto the subject of reviews, been reading those that have appeared on my tumblr feed, generally positive, some saying they don't like it - it just doesn't float their boat, which is fair enough. A couple have said that it took too long to get to the apocalypse and there's too much complex dialogue - two of the things I enjoyed about it. It isn't a book for children, it's for people who can appreciate a line like 'Granola snorting weirdos'. Looking forward to issue 2.

Was listening to the geekaid podcast yesterday and in their view Scooby Apocalypse was by far the best thing DC has done in this entire rebirth/relaunch thing. That you should buy extra.copies, laminate the pages, reassemble the comic then leave them.on the train or beach for others to find.
Note the podcast contains a lot of swearing if you decide to track it down. Scooby is discussed in the last 15 the 15 mins or so.

I hope this means they'll have a more experimental series coming up after Be Cool (and most likely) a series very close to the orignal in 2019.

I hope this means they'll have a more experimental series coming up after Be Cool (and most likely) a series very close to the orignal in 2019. I'm hoping it will mean a bit more effort is put into the likes of Team Up and Where Are You which were OK if a little bland and by the numbers. It the sales hold up past the first few issues then it may make it worthwhile for DC to push on more with the other titles. Not sure of the link between DC and WB but having an animated version of Scooby Apocalypse could be a riot, but even if they started now you wouldn't see anything for a year or so.
