I have a strong feeling that "Space Puppy" is a reference to something, but that isn't my era, so I'm not sure. I liked this episode too.

Not really a fan of the monster design, but this ep had a fun setting, and unique motive (old computer game piracy, before video game piracy was so widely known) as well.

This is perhaps among my top five favorite segments of this series. Yes, computer game piracy was prevalent in 1983, with floppy disks. It wasn't as big in 1983 as it is today. It's nice to see the school dance happening at the end, which was designed to pay for the damage done by the culprit, but it would have been nice to see Shaggy and Daphne dancing with each other, although they did in the accompanying segment "No Thanks, Masked Manx".

I find this episode to be quite unique in terms of setting and plot and motive. We got to see Daphne's cousin, we got a high school mystery which we don't get that often and we got videogame piracy, which is interesting to see in a Scooby-Doo episode.
