A very nice idea. Good luck and I hope it goes well as it looks like it'd be a good read.

It was a hot summer day. The Mystery Machine was driving along a long road.
“Gee Daph,” said Fred. “It sure was nice of your uncle to invite us all to the test of his new time machine.”
“I know,” said Daphne. “I just hope he lets us go back in time. I’d love to meet a dinosaur.”
“Like, speaking of dinosaurs, I’m starving,” said Shaggy, poking his head out from the back.
“Reah,” agreed Scooby, coming up behind him.
“How does that have anything to do with dinosaurs Shaggy?” asked Velma.
Scooby and Shaggy looked at each other. Shaggy shrugged.
“Like, I don’t know man,” he said.
“Ri’m still rungry,” said Scooby.
“Like, me too,” said Shaggy.
The van pulled up in front of a large building. They got out and saw a teenager who looked about Daphne’s age. He had blue hair.
“Hey gang, this is my brother,” said Daphne. “Conor Blake. He’s been Uncle Steve’s assistant since his old one was fired.”
“Hi guys!” exclaimed Conor. “Nice to meet you!”
“Hi,” said Velma.
“Hey,” said Fred.
“Like, I’m hungry,” said Shaggy.
“Re too,” agreed Scooby.
“Come on in,” said Conor. “There’s loads of food. Some of it from the future.”
Conor led the gang inside. A man was there to greet them.
“Hello Daphne!” he exclaimed.
“Uncle Steve!” exclaimed Daphne. “It’s great to see you.”
“You too, Daphne,” said Steve. “Hey, Conor, have we fixed our time machine yet?”
“Uh, yeah,” said Conor. “Jane fixed it.”
“Who’s Jane?” asked Fred.
“She’s my sister,” explained Daphne.
“Oh,” said Fred.
Suddenly, there the sound of loud footsteps echoed around.
“Like, zoinks!” cried Shaggy.
“Rikes!” exclaimed Scooby, leaping into Shaggy’s arms.
“Jinkies, what was that?” asked Velma.
“A problem,” said Conor.
“I’ll deal with it,” said Steve. He ran off.
Somebody who looked a few years older than Conor and Daphne walked over.
“Jane,” said Daphne, “did you hear it?”
“Yes,” said Jane. “Conor, we have to go help.”
She and Conor ran off.
“Interesting,” said Velma. “I wonder what’s going on.”
“Like, I don’t know and I don’t want to find out!” exclaimed Shaggy.
“Reah, re neither!” barked Scooby.
Suddenly, the lights flickered. When they came back on, the gang saw an odd red skinned creature standing there. It looked like an Oni from Japanese mythology. The legs of Steve Blake were sticking out the bottom of the sack it was carrying!
“Like, zoinks!” screamed Shaggy.
“Rikes!” cried Scooby.
“Oh no, that monster has Uncle Steve!” exclaimed Daphne.
“Quick, jump for that sack!” exclaimed Fred.
The gang all jumped at it and grabbed it just as the Oni pressed a button. The next thing the gang knew they were in the middle of a desert. They saw the Oni running away at high speeds.
“Jinkies, where are we?” asked Velma.
“Who knows?” said Fred. “I think the Oni used the time machine.”
“We need to go after Uncle Steve,” said Daphne.
“Like, no way man!” exclaimed Shaggy.
“Reah, ro way!” agreed Scooby.
“Why not?” asked Velma.
“Like, we’re not going anywhere near that spooky Oni thing,” said Shaggy.
“Reah,” said Scooby, nodding.
“But he has the time machine, and if we don’t follow, then we can never get back,” said Fred.
“Like, he’s got a point Scoob,” said Shaggy.
“Reah,” admitted Scooby.
“First, we’ve got to figure out what time we’re in,” said Daphne.
Velma looked around. “We appear to be in Ancient Egypt. Those people over there are building a pyramid.”
The gang walked over.
“Uncle Steve says there’s a translator,” said Daphne. “I hope it works.”
“I’ll test it,” said Fred. “Nice job guys!”
All the people building at the pyramid turned to Fred, stared at him, then continued working.
“Can you understand me?” asked Fred.
Everybody turned back to Fred, screamed, and ran away.
“Wonder what they were afraid of,” said Fred.
“L-l-like… Fred,” said Shaggy. “Look… b-b-b-”
“Behind rou!” finished Scooby.
Fred whirled around and saw a human with the head of a jackal.
“Wait, Anubis?!” he exclaimed.
Anubis roared and pushed past Fred. He began to destroy the pyramid.
“Like, run!” cried Shaggy.
He and Scooby bolted away, followed by the rest of the gang. When they were far enough away, they stopped.
“That ras ra close one,” said Scooby.
“Jinkies, that was Anubis,” said Velma. “An Egyptian God!”
“Well gang, looks like we’ve got a mystery to solve, even in the past!” exclaimed Fred.
“What about Uncle Steve?” asked Daphne.
“We’ll find him next,” said Fred. “Shaggy, Scooby, you guys check around here. Daphne, Velma and I will go check the pyramid.”
“Like, that’s great plan Fred,” said Shaggy.
He and Scooby bolted away.
“Like, we need to find some food quick,” said Shaggy.
“Reah, rook!” exclaimed Scooby.
There was a large pile of fruit in front of them.
“Like, pinch me Scoob, I must be dreaming,” said Shaggy.
“Rokay,” said Scooby. He pinched Shaggy.
“Like, I’m not dreaming! Let’s go!” exclaimed Shaggy.
He and Scooby ran to the fruit and began to eat. By the time they looked up, they realized part of it was gone.
“Like, huh,” said Shaggy.
“Rust be us,” said Scooby.
Suddenly, Anubis rose up and began to eat the fruit!
“Like, zoinks!” cried Shaggy.
“Rikes!” barked Scooby, jumping onto Shaggy’s back.
They began to run! Anubis chased them. Scooby and Shaggy ran into a pyramid, and looked around. They began to walk, when all of a sudden Scooby stepped on a tile that sank down. Suddenly, arrows began to shoot from the ceiling and spikes began to pop out of the ground. Scooby and Shaggy bolted out. Anubis ran in after them, and Shaggy closed the secret entrance.
“Like, phew,” said Shaggy. “I think we lost him.”
“Reah,” said Scooby.
Meanwhile, Fred, Daphne, and Velma were watching the pyramid. Some of the people who Fred had seen building it were standing by the ruins.
“Ah, I can’t believe it,” said one of them. He was trying to put it back together. “Anubis wrecked it again.”
“After all our hard work,” said the other. “But cheer up Shu.” She picked up some sand.
“I will, Heket,” said Shu.
“Heket and Shu?” asked Daphne. “Those are weird names.”
“I think they’re the names of Egyptian gods and goddesses,” said Fred.
“They are,” said Velma. “I wonder why.”
“Cheer up you two,” said a voice. A man walked over.
“Hey, Osiris,” said Heket.
“He is too,” said Fred.
Osiris dropped something. He walked off, followed by Heket and Shu.
Fred walked over. He picked it up.
“It’s… a phone,” he said.
“Huh?” asked Daphne.
“Are you kidding me?” asked Velma. “There can’t be a phone here.”
“It’s not password locked,” said Fred. “Looks like he’s been texting some guy named Jeff. It’s about traveling to Egypt.”
Suddenly, Anubis walked up behind them. He tapped Fred on the back. He turned around.
“It’s Anubis!” exclaimed Fred.
“Jeepers, run!” exclaimed Velma.
Anubis grabbed the phone and smashed it.
Scooby and Shaggy ran over.
“Like, we’ve been running, from Anubis!” cried Shaggy.
“Rooks like rou’ve met,” commented Scooby.
They all began to run.
“Quick guys, I’ve got a plan,” said Fred. “And I’m sorry. I didn’t bring any Scooby Snacks into the past. Shaggy, you and Scooby chase Anubis into the ruin of the pyramid!”
“Like, as long as we can get back soon!” exclaimed Shaggy.
“Reah, Scooby-Dooby-Soon,” added Scooby.
He and Shaggy ran into the ruin of the old pyramid. Anubis jumped in. Scooby and Shaggy jumped out. They bumped into another Anubis!
Shaggy screamed, startling the other Anubis. It fell backwards into the ruin as Fred pushed all the remains of the pyramid onto them.
“Great,” said Fred, “time to see who these impostors really are.”
He tugged off the masks.
“Heket and Shu,” said Velma, “just as I suspected. Thanks to Osiris, it was pretty easy to figure out.”
Osiris walked over. “Wait, me?”
“Yes,” said Velma. “Heket and Shu were both dressing up as Anubis. I recalled seeing Shu at the time when it was being built, but not Heket. They wanted to stop the pyramid from being built so they didn’t have to work on it, so they took turns dressing as Anubis. If Osiris had been Anubis, he wouldn’t have broken his phone.”
“Right,” said Heket. “And we would have gotten away with it too, if it weren’t for you meddling kids!”
“But who is Osiris anyway?” asked Daphne.
“I figured that one out,” said Fred. “Daph, remember how you mentioned that Conor had been working for Steve ever since his old assistant was fired? Osiris is the old assistant. He went back into ancient times to make a plan to get hired again.”
“Yeah,” said Osiris. “And you can’t get phones in Ancient Egypt!”
He began to cry.
“What’s a phone?” asked Shu.
Heket shrugged.
“Well,” said Fred. “I’m glad that’s all wrapped up-”
“Look!” exclaimed Daphne. “The Oni! He’s about to leave this time!”
The Oni was nearby, about to press a button. The gang all leapt at it.
“Scooby-Dooby-Doo!” barked Scooby as he landed on the Oni, and vanished from sight to all those in Ancient Egypt. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Great work on chapter 1. My only critism is that you could have a bit more detail in regards to the locations the gang found themselves in, eg the lab and ancient egypt (though ancient egypt wasn't too hard to imagine), as it helps set the scene more. Well that and there could have been a bit more of a description for Conor and Uncle Steven though that's a minor thing.
Then again I do tend to go a bit in detail when describing things in my writing. I have a Hex Girls fanfic in the works currently (won't be done for ages though, so don't expect to see it any time soon) where one chapter has a roughly 500 word section describing an old victorian manor...and that's just the outside of it haha!
Other than that it was very good for a first chapter! Keep up the good work.

Very nice job on the first chapter! I have one criticism similar to what Grumpydrawer said, I would have liked more description of the background characters especially Jane since she's Daphne's sister. I guess Fred's "Oh" just felt like a bit of an awkward transition since we didn't get to really learn anything about Jane before immediately moving on...but like Grumpydrawer said, it's just a minor issue and doesn't affect the story too much.
But I really enjoyed this first part and looking forward to see what happens in the next chapter!

These were the plans I had when I announced the series:
World Scare II - In a small village, the gang meets one of Shaggy's relatives who was a soldier in World War II. They help him solve the case of the soldier ghost, who turns out to be Ben, some dude who owned a store.
Pirate Plan - The gang gets aboard a pirate ship to help a captain deal with the shark man haunting him. It was really the captain himself! It was going to be funny with the gang pretending to be pirates.
Rack Ro Ra Ruture - The future gang ghosts haunts a museum dedicated to them. To make sure nobody knows about the time travel, they dress up and find the ghosts were people hired by Red Herring who wanted to ruin the gang's name.
Samurai Scare! - The gang arrives in Japan and finds two Samurai ghosts destroying the town. Culprits were two ninjas who planned to pretend to be samurais and were testing it.
Scooby-Doo and the Gold Rush, Too! - The gang encounters a creepy miner made of gold during the gold rush. The culprit was really Nancy, somebody who was searching for all the gold.
The Caveman Mystery - In Caveman times, the gang meets a giant cave painting come to life. It was really the caveman who was seen with the painting, who moved it in a special way to help it chase him.
The Past, the Now, and the Uncley - In modern times, the gang must trap the Oni. It was really Uncle Steve who faked his kidnapping to get the gang to solve mysteries throughout history. The only thing ever seen in the Oni's kidnapping sacks were the legs, it was just a fake plan.
