Be Cool is better even though I don't really care for it that much. Misery Stink is the worst series to date because of all the forced Fraphne and Shelma relationships and the messed up timeline. I also don't like the dark tone in Misery Stink. The animation for both shows are terrible. I see what your saying but the one thing I actually liked about SDMI was that it did have a timeline that went through all the episodes and all the episodes were interconnected, BCSD has each isolated episode, which is nice, but its not as mature as BCSD.

Even if SDMI is it's own canon what I don't about the timeline is they hinted the timeline included the Scrappy episodes and 13 Ghosts even though the gang didn't meat Scrappy and the events of 13 Ghosts didn't occur until they were adults.

Be Cool all the way! Scary Christmas and Area 53 Adjustment are live. The writing is better there. Not all the episodes are gold, but some are definitely some of the best Scooby episodes we have, IMO. I didn't like the animation style that much in either if them. I much prefer the Zombie Island style or even 13 ghosts, which basically just had better quality Hanna Barbera animation. Be Cool kind of looks like a parody in a way though. The demonic reincarnation really bothered me, the focus of romance for all most all the episodes (they do know romance can take place over like two, and they can just date without making a big deal out of it right?), the sexualization of Fred and Daphne to some degree, making the 00's movies canon..., the main villain, them replacing Daphne and it not effecting the team that much and the fact Daphne had a lot less character then she did in the original. Mini rant aside, I did like the attempt of making an interlocking plot, even if it did of kind of drag out.

Be Cool, not a fan of the animation but the writing is great! I thought 13 ghosts did a better job of an interlocking mystery.

Unfortunately I was out of data when the voting was going on but personally Be Cool wins by leaps and bounds!! I'm not a huge fan of the art style, though it is growing on me... But I wasn't a huge fan of the pointy, angled style of Mystery Inc either.
When Mystery Inc came out and it seemed to be a bit scarier, I thought I would really enjoy it but I soon found I couldn't stand how they butchered the gang and their dynamic with all that teenage drama. That alone turned me off the series completely, making just about anything else favorable in comparison.
On the flip side, when Be Cool was advertised, I was iffy and unsure, especially after the disaster that was Mystery Inc. I was so skeptical that I even held off watching it for about a month but when I finally did watch it I regretted that decision. This series is a refreshing addition to the Scooby franchise and I absolutely love the dry, snarky take on the characters.
