Don Knotts was hilarious and along with Scooby made a great team! I also liked the Ghost of Captain Moody.

I just wish it hadn't taken so long for them to meet Don Knotts proper.

Don Knotts was a great guest character, this was a very weird episode.

Best episode of the series for me. Love seeing Don Knotts trying to play all those various "kooky characters", even though I found it funny that Scooby was the only one to point out that he was Don Knotts. Also like most episodes of this series, the Ghosts of Captain Moody seemed like an added-on thing, even if the designs were pretty good.

This was really odd to me. Maybe I need to watch it again though. It felt a bit too long.

I really liked the ghost, mystery, and setting. It was kinda weird to have Don Knotts be playing different characters. This episode was good but hit or miss

Velma must've been fast getting into the Nystery Machine after she broke the gate. Also in one shot the Mystery Machine drove itself. This episode is one of my favorites of this series.

Dang this one is good but it really could've been spectacular for me. This might be the singular episode in the series where I wish it was longer. Although time consuming, I for one loved all of the Don Knotts hijinks that led up to the mystery. I just really wish that this mystery could have actually gotten a fair build up. This was the episode where the added-on mystery formula was at its most noticeable and it's really a shame because the ghost and the could've been mystery of Captain Moody was certainly an intriguing one. Oh well it is what it is and that's a pretty darn good episode that missed it's enormous potential

I didn’t really like this episode, Don Knotts, the plot, the pace nor anything else about it

This episode couldve been this series A night of Fright is no Delight but instead it's really about the buildup leading to the final twenty minutes. Don Knotts is great with those characters and the ghost designs especially Captain Moody ghost are brilliant. I wished the ghosts were a bit more utilized but there's certain things I wouldn't change about the episode. I think I like Spooky Fog of Juneberry more.

I didn’t really like this episode, Don Knotts, the plot, the pace nor anything else about it The pace could have been faster, but I think the slow build up was just played for laughs. I like the episode regardless. I watch it quite a bit.

Over five years later, I'm revisiting this in HD. The fact that Knotts actually voiced these himself is really neat. I wasn't used to the longer time format years back, but it's grown on me.

Plot: A great mystery full of twists and surprises. I liked the humour and the Velma-Daphne dynamic in this episode (the first one they interact so much with each other). 10/10 Set Up: The Captain's house was great. Ith had a lot of traps and secret passages things that i like and want in a scoovy episode 10/10 Monster(s): The Ghosts of Captain Moody had a cool design, in my opinion. The captain himself being a mysterious and scary-looking character in his portrait helped a lot. 8/10
BONUS Guest Star: Don Knotts (or Homer Pipsqueak) was a great guest star. He was very fun and a great detective. 10/10 Nostalgia Boost: +100000. Another episode of this series that I loved as a kid and saw a trillion times growing up.
Final Score:10/10
