I recently re-watched this and found myself really enjoying it!

I'd have to say this is probably my least favorite episode of the series.

I agree with scoob16, I also like this episode. I'm a fan of a "creepy carnival" mystery, and I liked the spooky lights and sounds coming from the fair. Though, Charlie the Robot is not a favorite villain of mine, and the list of suspects is very small.

Good episode. Charlie The Robot was a decent deviation from the usual man in a monster mask of the week formula that we've so accustomed to.

Interesting but I wish there had been an unmasking.

I feel one of the underrated episodes of the original series. The monster isn't that great, but the atmosphere of the abandoned Funland at night is amazing. Some of the action sequences are also a lot of fun

Top notch setting and atmosphere, but a very subpar plot makes this one not great unfortunately

I'd have to say this is probably my least favorite episode of the series. I think it must be because it's one of the only episodes that contains no real villain to point where Charlie the robot and Sarah Jenkins are barely even antagonists.

This is one of my favorites of the series, the setting is so eerie, the robot creeps me the hell out, following the gang around

I now feel like this episode gets slept on so much, it's genuinely one of my favourite Scooby episodes of all time.
I thought this was regarded by many as a stone cold classic but it's actually very interesting to see how many people are put off, somewhat, by the lack of true villain. I always thought Charlie was one of the greatest adversaries the gang ever faced. At least we can all agree that Funland was a top class setting 👍

I just can't say I enjoy this episode nearly as much as most from the series because it's plot lags behind the competition in a big way. In my book, it's iconic and a classic, but most certainly not a personal favorite

You all probably know by now that this is one of my absolute favourites of all time. I can forgive the lack of a proper mystery because all the goings on in the episode are fantastic! Charlie is legendary and Funland is the most diverse location that the gang ever investigated, in the original series.
Mystery - 7/10 Villain - 10/10 Setting - 10/10
Overall Score - 10/10

Rating: 8-8.5/10 It's one of the better episodes of the series and in the top five for Season One imo.
