Apparently, this guy is hated across the Scooby fanbase, even more than Scrappy. I thought he was so adorable and hilarious! I really liked the four episodes he had guest starred in and wish he had been around more. Did you like Scooby-Dum? Or did you hate him? I thought he brought some very good humor to the episodes he was in, and couldn't stop myself from laughing in his first episode!

Well, I think he's just awesome! Really funny and nice addition to the show! Be sure to check out the SDMI season 3 fan-fiction I'm writing with a forum member, Maybeth. We intend to bring him back in the show at one of the last episodes!

I liked him. Yes, the character might have grown a bit tired if he appeared in every episode, even if just for a season, but I do wish he had made more appearances.

Yeah, it's s shame he was only in for four episodes, but they were great. I do agree that he wouldn't have worked in an entire season, but he should've appeared in at least, I'd say, ten.

My fave episode of Scooby-Dum has to be Vampire Bats and Scaredy Cats, mostly becuase of the following scenes: SHAGGY: Are you here? Fred? Velma? SCOOBY-DUM: Vampire? SHAGGY: (grabs him from the snout) Shhhh!!! VAMPIRE: I want blood!!! SCOOBY-DUM: Blood!... Blood? Uh-oh... SCOOBY-DUM: I can't even see my flashlight... Ooh, flashlight! Scooby-Dum rocks!!!

I liked Scooby Dum. I was also happy he was in the laff-a-lympics.

Scooby-Dum was a neat character, and it was neat to see Hanna Barbera was at least trying to add some recurring characters to a Scooby Doo show for a change. Though I understand why they didn't use him often. His whole dumb shtick would have been gotten old and irritating very quickly. Although I do wish they used him in more episodes then four.

I found Scooby Dum more irritating than Scrappy, so I have no love lost for Scooby's cousin. I get why HB tried new characters, but I don't think people saw a huge difference between Scooby Doo and Scooby Dum, save the fact that Dum was much more a dim bulb, and just as much a fraidy cat.

of all scoobys cousins9 Dum, Dee, Dixie, Yabba) Dum appeared the most, and was much more of a 'main' character, or sidekick' still, scooby dum was basically a dumbed down scooby clone, and they never specified whether he was a brother or a cousin, because he was referred to as both.

Dum had the potential to be much worse than Scrappy but he didn't appear as much so we were saved from that.

Exactly....think a real dumb Scooby clone. The show didn't really need another dog that pretty much did the exact same thing in the scenes they both were seen in together. At least with Scrappy, he wasn't like Scooby Doo. I think I only saw like one five minute clip with this Yabba-Doo character and he's just a clutzy Scooby clone; probably why most don't know who he is.

yeah they kept adding Scooby clones- like Dooby Doo who was a stand in for Elvis. All guys too. Scooby Dee and Dixie were his only female relatives and they showed up exactly once.

Yabba was quite a bit more articulate then Scooby, and always had the craziest ideas he called "Yabba-Plans", and a lot of times they would work. Plus I like the sound of his voice.

Yabba got his own show, in essence, and was partnered with Scrappy for a bit.
