I gotta say, I am excited, but also worried about any new cast. It took me 2 years to get used to the latest cast (Nick Palatas, Robbie Ammel, Kate Melton, Hayley Kiyoko).

Wow, interesting. So judging by the people involved, it looks like this may be a bigger budget theater release rather than the usual DTV?
Promising!

If I read it correctly though, this is an animated release, not live action. It's just being made by the same people who did the first two live action films. So it may be the animation style that changes. Wonder if they'll use the same voice actors as the recent stuff? Mark

The investment does, I think, mean that WB thinks the franchise has legs.

that doesn't surprise me. i mean there have been dozens of scooby related movies over the years. i prefer animated films to the live action route

I wonder if this movie could be the 'pilot' if you will for a new Scooby series to air on TV later?

Oh, sorry, I seem to connect 'threatical' to 'live-action'. So, it's a SD movie in cinemas! That is new, especially since Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed.

Hopefully they can get all the current voice actors, but I don't know if that will happen.
