I notice there are some rereleases for Ghoul School and Reluctant Werewolf, any word if we are getting cleaner transfers from any of these re releases? I really would like the older back catalog updated to high bitrate DVD at least.

Unfortunately Warner Brothers always use the same masters for re-releases on DVD, with no chance of any changes to the discs. It is really annoying that re-releases of 'What's New Scooby Doo?' and the later DTVs are still cropped to full screen, and not widescreen on the numerous re-releases too.

Yes it would be nice if they could clean up some of them, especially the older "essential" sets. I don't see that being a priority however unless they release some of those in Blu-ray, and maybe just have to. Like if they reissue the original SDWAY? series set. For a lot of older shows that's generally when the remastering has occurred.

I don't think anything has changed other than the cases. Given the originals were made in the early days of DVDs, it's not exactly much of a re-release, just switching how the dvds are currently produced. They at no point went OOP, WB has always been selling them.
