The movie did feel like a parody at times, though I did enjoy the big with Scooby-Doo disguised as Dynomutt (complete with rubber mask!)

Mask of the Blue Falcon is probably a second tier Scooby Movie by my taste, but well worth having. I'm a big fan of this movie. It's like a really really good extended episode or a TV special. Their treatment of the Blue Falcon and the comparison of the 'reboot' phenomena in treating the new BF movie as Batman Begins was great. I ACTUALLY THOUGHT THROUGH THE WHOLE MOVIE that the original Blue Falcon was being voiced by Adam West. I wasn't disappointed to see it wasn't, but, the actor was using an Adam West voice to me. That really added some to it for me. I wouldn't want to say more given that 99% haven't seen it yet on Amazon streaming and can't buy it. My rank: BUY IT!
Here's my not so scientific personal ranking by Tier of the scooby movies released sofar. Ofcourse, in each Tier there's a best to worst too, but this is not listed in order. My fav movies are the first 3 listed, the rest is all just in no order.
Camp Scare, Zombie Island, Witch's Ghost, Cyber Chase, Chill Out, and Legend Of The Vampire , Boo Brothers, Reluctant Werewolf, Alien Invaders , and Phantosaur are first tier for me. Second Tier is Samurai, Abracadabroadoo, Loch Ness, Goblin King, Monster of Mexico, Aloha!, Where's My Mummy and Pirates Ahoy! , so Blue Falcon feels solidly in Second Tier and is probably the top of the Second Tier. Good scooby stuff, just not Cinema Release quality. Third Tier is Big Top Scooby Doo, Music Of The Vampire. Anything on those 3 Tiers is worth your time. Then there's the absolute bottom, Scooby Doo and the Arabian Nights, which should be cataloged and made streaming only on a site declaring it a mistake with a long apology for it's existence.
