Great timing. I just started rewatching them last week for the first time in many years. Plus we just got Boomerang a couple days ago, so I can watch the ones not on DVD.
Can't say I have a favorite yet, but "The Haunted Horseman of Hagglethorn Hall" is one of the best titles ever, so hopefully the episode is as cool as the name.
The only one I've watched all the way through so far is "The Spooky Fog" which was okay, but not as good as some I vaguely remember. I did see about half of "The Phantom of the Country Music Hall" last summer and thought what I saw was pretty good, so I guess for now I'll have to call that my fav.

I have only seen the ones on DVD. I love The Spooky Fog and The Mystery of Haunted Island.

I like "The Haunted Horseman of Hagglethorn Hall" and "Wednesday is Missing" Now that we finally get Boomerang, I really excited to see these and the other episodes not on DVD. Have been recording them to my DVR since last week. I think Wednesday is Missing plays this week. Mark

Back in the day, I really enjoyed "Sandy Duncan's Jekyll And Hyde". I loved seeing multiple Daphnes I guess, since she was always my favorite character. I also really liked "The Phantom Of The Country Music Hall" because of Jerry Reed's singing, I loved "Pretty Mary Sunlight". After watching the episodes again several years later, those two held up very well. I also gained an appreciation for "The Haunted Candy Factory", "The Haunted Showboat", and "A Good Medium Is Rare". Cass Elliot was an excellent guest star who obviously had a great time doing the show, and I really love her voice. It led to me discovering her vocal work on "The Mamas And The Papas" and her solo career. I loved the mystery involving Phyllis Diller, she was entertaining. The Pussycats were an excellent choice to guest star. They really went out in the best way possible, by appearing on the Scooby-Doo show. It brought two great cartoons together in one of the best ways, it was nice to see them again and interacting with my favorite characters.

There were a few gems I've managed to pull out from the myriad of episodes, upon recommendation, of course. A few being "Wednesday is Missing", "The Haunted Showboat", and "The Haunted Horseman of Hagglethorn". I liked the guest stars a lot and they interacted well with the gang! I loved it when Davy Jones split off with Daphne and Velma only to be chased by the moat monster so he sings while they run away.
An honorable mention is "The Haunted Candy Factory", which one of my favorite singers, Cass Elliot, appeared in. The villains were a tad unoriginal; the green globs were rather uninteresting. I wish Cass could have sang a chase song like Davy Jones and Jerry Reed did, but I digress. Nevertheless, it was cool to see her there!

Cass Elliot had an amazing voice, it's such a shame she didn't get a chance to re-record one of the classic chase songs like Jerry and Davy. I also would have loved another song by Josie And The Pussycats instead of the instrumental (from an "Outer Space" song) they used at the end and the sound effects during the chase scene.

It would have been cool if she sang 'Daydreamin' from "Jeepers, It's the Creeper", as well as hilarious.
I mean, the chase song was okay, but they should have used either the Josie and the Pussycats theme song instead of the one they chose in my opinion, but the episode was still awesome regardless of the music.

My two favorites by far were Dynamic Scooby Doo Affair and Loch Ness Mess. The Scooby Affair episode had an amazing sequence and mystery with the spinning house and the old woman being the hooded figure was great. Loch Ness Mess I loved for the multiple most sets and cool setting

The Exterminator probably Glad to see some love for that episode! It's not my favorite but I feel it's definitely underrated. After a re-watch it might be The Haunted Carnival again . I get sentimental watching that one.
