It's not much but looks like we finally got some news regarding the animation style, and thankfully it's not "Get A Clue" style! animationguildblog.blogspot.com/2009/11/warners-exprience.html"The look of the new Scooby series is definitely retro. We go back to the early seventies styling and backgrounds, and forget that all the dvd features were even made..." Also... "Casey Kasem came in last week to record Shaggy's Dad. [Kasem used to play Shaggy. Time moves on. -- SH] Casey looks good, but he moves a little slower than he used to. But he's out there doing it, you know? Still working." Hmm...Casey Kasem's not voicing Shaggy?

Also, it may not be true, but Wikipedia says the show is rumored to start somewhere between November 21st through December 19th

Casey won't voice Shaggy.... hmpf. Wiki still says Casey is the one voicing Shaggy. And Imdb isn't giving any information about that one yet.
If he's not... I'd like Billy West or Scott Innes. No one messes with Casey, but they still did a good job.
Pleased from the retro look. That's gotta be a good sign.

It's weird IMDB doesn't have a page for this yet

Yeah, I think so, too. They're normally pretty fast with their sites, they had the third live action movie maybe one year before it first showed.

It would be sad if Casey stopped doing Shaggy's voice.

Matthew Lillard is replacing Casey Kasem?? www.movieweb.com/news/NE4uA948PvnA76"There hasn't been anything moving with Scooby Doo is there? Matthew Lillard: Not really. I played the voice of Shaggy for this new cartoon coming out. It's two seasons of a cartoon coming out and then we do two movies a year. Casey (Kasem) has officially retired from doing the voice, so I'm doing the voice. I know they're doing a live-action thing."

Matthew Lillard doing the voice of Shaggy could be ok. He was awesome as Shaggy in the movies. Too bad Casey Kasem isn't doing it anymore.

I think Matthew did an alright job as Shaggy in the live action movies; Probably the reason Casey's retiring is his age, he's in his seventies and not that many seventy year olds are doing tv or radio any more, that being said I cannot wait for the new Series and the new animated movie.

Mh. Well, Matthew voicing him is a surprise, but a good one, he has done a great job as Shaggy, acting and speaking him.
