That last one is interesting. You'd think Angel would've told the gang who he is. Why hasn't she done that?

There isn't a Season 2 of MI. Episodes 14-26 are the second half of season 1. I got this off of Wikipedia as proof. "When production for the series began in 2009, Cartoon Network ordered one season of Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated with a total of 26 episodes.[1] Despite this, Cartoon Network decided to call the episodes 14-26 a "new season," although in reality, there's only one. A second season has not been announced yet."
I'm a huge fan of The Big Bang Theory, Jim Parsons, The Lord of the Rings, The Legend of Zelda, and, of course, Fraphne.

Yeah it was announced a second season. I think its clear by ending of the 26th episode that there will indeed be a second season. If there is not another season afterwards I must say this was the worst series finale ever.

Don't worry guys, there will be a season 2. 26 more episodes are on the way. CN has been calling these 13 episodes season 2, but it's really still season 1{itunes still refers to this as season 1 too}.

So, their WILL be a second season of MI? Like another 26 episodes to make 52 total in 2 seasons? I'm a little confused about what everyone's saying; me and my tiny brain!
I'm a huge fan of The Big Bang Theory, Jim Parsons, The Lord of the Rings, The Legend of Zelda, and, of course, Fraphne.
Cartoon Network's normal quota for any hit show is 78 episodes. This would give SD:MI three seasons (six under CN's guidelines) with each season uncovering two more of the Planespheric Discs leading to the hidden treasure. We could see Mr. E and the gang face each other in season two, but the most pressing thing right now is Fred searching for his real parents.
Why didn't Angel tell the gang who Mr. E was? Probably for the same reason Velma didn't tell the gang straight away who Angel was. An unwritten law of trust.
I think they should expand the group to six, as has been hinted at in What New Scooby doo and again in this series The Mystery Machine has room for 6, yet currently holds only 5. Scrappy has already made a cameo in episode 20 of this year. I think they should give scooby a girlfriend in season 2, on a casual level, nothing like I want pups and i want them now!" kind of deal. As stated elsewhere < dixie doo would make a good fit. Bit of a ditz, but ultimately a lovable girl.Cameos by Dum and Scooby dee would be nice too. I would like to have the second season take them around the country. Starting in the south (enter dixie), and moving around in homage to the original series, where they moved around all over the place.
Here's a theory brought up: When Fred finds his real parents, he learns his real name is Geoffrey Michael Chiles. It's a nod to the developmental origins of Scooby-Doo; when it was developed in 1969 it was called Mysteries Five, and two of the kids were named Geoffrey and Mike. They were melded into Fred as the characters and designs evolved.
Well,, I reckon the second season will open a bit after the final of the first season with Scooby escaping from his farm and returning to Crystal Cove to find the gang. Fred will find his real parents, and at some point the gang will be reunited. They may find some more pieces of the disk and I think this season will wrap up those point and Professor Pericles. This should be an interesting season though, with the gang travelling around it should be more reminiscent of the original Where Are You Series? But with the over-arching storyline and character development we’ve seen Mystery Inc.
Does anyone think the Mayor will get some sort of redemption in Season 2? He did seem remorseful about the lies he had been telling Fred all his life at the beginning of the episode, he admitted he cared for him, he saved Fred’s life and he did seem shocked and upset at Fred turning his back on him. I also wonder, given the note that episode 26 ended on if season 2 will bring up a more determined, serious Fred like the original incarnation – except with more depth, humour and personality. It should be interesting how they explore those character relationships and dynamics.
Mayor Jones is really going to have to step up for Freddy to redeem him for what he's done. Right now he's going to do some time in the pokey. Could the storylines for season 2 eschew the typical Scooby mystery milieux so Fred can focus on the search for his parents?
We'll probably have to wait till November sweeps at the longest, as Television Without Pity has no mention of season 2 eps starting up immediately.
