Big Top Scooby movie ending kind of hinted at it to me ;D Can you give me your opinion on this? I know Shaggy and Scooby get a Clue isn't a fan favorite in the scooby fandom but ;D Would you guys like another Shaggy and Scooby solo series? Maybe some with solving mysteries or facing real monsters. It'd be kind of like Scooby and Scrappy, only without Scrappy in it

That wouldn't be a bad idea!

It depends. Maybe they'll do a few episodes of a show that are Shaggy and Scooby-only, like that weird What's New Scooby-Doo episode "Camp Comeoniwannascareya" (was that supposed to be a pilot or something?)
Since Warner won't be doing another Loonatics Unleashed, this means they won't be doing another "Shaggy and Scooby-Doo Get a Clue" anymore, thank goodness

If it's done the right way, it could work. If it's like Get a Clue, then no!!

I'd prefer not. I like the whole gang. Whenever they move away from that the stories either tend to go the more comedic route with no real mystery, or just something altogether odd like Get A Clue.

I think if done right, they could do something awesome with it. But I do love the whole gang together. They each bring something different to the table. As the show as progressed Fred, Velma and Daphne have more personality which is nice.

I don't think they will. Maybe a just focus more on them in one episode, with the whole gang, just like they did in the first episodes of SDMI, but nothing more...

If the Warner Brothers do , they hopefully will do it right. I don't think they will , however.

I don't think I could stand an entire series of JUST Scooby and Shaggy, as entertaining as they are. If they go back to the 80's format with just Shaggy, Scooby, Daphne, and maybe even Scrappy I'd be all for it and in love all over again! I'd even take the occasional Fred/Velma cameo like in "The New Scooby-Doo Mysteries". I loved the adventures/mysteries they had in the 80's incarnations.

If they could do a series with only Scooby and Shaggy and successfully pull it off so that despite their cowardice, circumstances forced them to solve mysteries by themselves - I think it could be ironically interesting.

The series, in my honest opinion, is stronger and better with the gang in full effect. My 2¢...

No - team dynamics would require at least one of the braver characters to be with them, otherwise they'd be free to run and no mysteries would ever get solved!

I hope not. The one they did sucked.

The idea behind Shaggy and Scooby relating to the plot is that they're victims of circumstance but in a positive way. Shaggy and Scooby end up saving the day but not usually by purpose (or in the newer series, their consent) A 'solo-series' sounds right because Scooby and Shag take up most of the run time in anything Scooby-Doo; but when you consider how their characters work, how would you go about having them on their own? Scrappy is a little dog but tough, Scoob and Shag are cowardly but will stick their necks out for one another. The charm of a silly character becoming the hero gets old when there's nothing but silly characters becoming heroes. If everything is a conflict, nothing is a conflict and paradoxically you've made the most exciting part boring.
