Three days in NYC! Yes! I dunno if I'll be able to go, though, since that's the weekend right before my dad's birthday.

It is better to give than receive so he should give you some tickets for his birthday. I suspect this argument will be as effective as the one I used with my son that the number of Christmas present you get should be the same as your age.

Of course, I won't like it so much as they get older!! I hope this musical is good. I don't really think Scooby and musicals go well together, but it is a stage show, so maybe there's hope! In pictures I have seen from the UK show, Scooby looks weird! Even if it's bad, I'm going to see it!!

I can always subtly suggest this, though...
And if I were him I would've said yes and plan ahead~. Fourteen presents on the level of stuff I get now would be awesome.

I actually haven't been to Beacon Theater yet, which may or may not be weird considering I've lived here my whole life... but now that I look it up, it's right near my new school. Which happens to be where Sarah Michelle Gellar went.
Scooby, Scooby everywhere.

Not bad, but it kinda sticks that they are just using the usual Scooby-Doo mascot-style suit for Scooby in this show. The 2002 "Scooby-Doo in Stagefright" stage show had a VERY REALISTIC Scooby-Doo costume:
