The back story for Edward du flay came back to my mind while on a ghost tour in Newport recently. We passed the house of judge Metcalf Bowler, the first supreme Court Justice of Rhode Island and the guide mentioned how Bowler sold information on Washington's troops to the Redcoats but it is unknown whether or not any of the information he sold them was legitimate. It is still debated as whether or not Bowler was a triple agent selling phony information to the redcoats in exchange for them leaving his property alone.

Director Michael Kurinsky explained the reason why the movie was completed. It's not that WBD wanted to complete the movie, but they've already paid for all the movie (I guess that payment could no longer be recovered). However, WBD still can't monetize with the movie in any way due to the $40 million tax write-off. Correct. That's what i meant by the term "sunk" which in business jargon means they have already spent the money before the job was completed so there's no way to recover the money from stopping the project. Isn't there some way they can release it for free?

I have a feeling she'll be getting some male love interests in the future too. She May very well get some female love interest in the future too as well but she'll still be attracted to guys in the future I think. It would really screw up what Little Canon they have if a character who is formerly interested in guys now has never had any interest in them. Continuity-wise it makes more sense for her to be bi. Basically what I'm saying is even if this movie sells well I have a feeling that her future love interests still won't be exclusively female. Watch for her to also still be into guys depending on the writers.

Probably not, I'll bet her next love interest will be a male. I doubt it tbh, lots of TV shows clearly love having some form of LGBT representation in their shows - now this is an easy, established way for them to do it. Then she'll probably be the b of LGBT. If anything she's bisexual at most.

I mean in official stuff, not from fans. Which official stuff though? Scooby has never had a consistent approach to there lore. Even if they did this changes very little. 99% of all of her love interests have still been guys. This is the only female love interest in Canon so far. At some point she's probably going to have another male Love interest so at most this means she's bi. She still seems to be mostly heterosexual though beyond that.

The film will probably be released in time to tie in with the release of the Superpets movie.

Maybe it was briefly released as a Barnes & Noble exclusive. I remember reading it while I was browsing.

I still can't even find any articles about this film. Wikipedia acts like it is not supposed to exist.

I don’t think they released the 3rd book yet. It was supposed to be released, but never was. I saw it at my local Barnes and Noble.

There is a fundamental problem with all live action remakes of cartoons... You cannot change the laws of physics Much of what happens in terms of the plot, comedy, physical actions etc. is heavily dependent on 'cartoon physics'. We can easily suspend belief when watching a cartoon, it's harder in live-action especially if they try to recreate what happened in the cartoons. This means that the writing and stories will have to be different, the masks will be better though. So Supernatural/X-Files/whatever style show would work but the writers will need to get into the right mindset for working in 'the real world'. As for Scooby being a real dog, I though the whole point of Scooby was to be as un-Great Dane like as possible (aside from his size), and having a real dog risks the show looking more like one of those Disney 'talking animal' films unless they head down the Lassie route of having a real animal that doesn't speak but somehow can communicate entire paragraphs of text with a single bark. A CGI Scooby solves that and as technoloby (plus budget) should fix some of the issues that the Scooby Doo live action film had with Scooby. I was thinking Scooby-Doo should be played by a combo of a real dog and CGI.
