When I drew for DC Comics, I went to Comic-Con for several years. Now that I've been in drydock for a couple of years now and my finances are in the toilet, I'll be staying here. Hopefully someone from this board will be there and report.

"":00-2:00 Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated Screening and Q&A—The gang from Crystal Cove is packing up its best traps and bringing them to San Diego, and it's no mystery as to why fans have embraced this most recent take on Scooby-Doo from Warner Bros. Animation. Supervising producers Spike Brandt and Tony Cervone (both veterans of Duck Dodgers) and producer Mitch Watson (Ben 10: Race Against Time) present a special screening of the first-season finale and a lively panel discussion on the adventures that await Scooby, Shaggy, Fred, Daphne, and Velma in season two. Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated airs Tuesdays at 7:30 E & P/6:30 C on Cartoon Network and the original movie Scooby-Doo! Legend of the Phantosaur will be released on DVD September 13. Tweeted info about SD:MI from Comic-Con from j3h: - No plans right now for mystery Inc season one set on bluray. Season 2 will be 26 eps. Episode #52 will tie directly to pilot. - Blue falcon & dynamutt will make an appearance in season 2 mystery Inc, as well as the Johnny Quest team. - Original voice actor of Johnny Quest will voice "brad"(fred real dad/original mystery Inc member) in season 2 - If season 2 of mystery Inc popular enough (ratings), they have a plan for season 3. No guarantees yet. - No date for season 2 of mystery Inc. To start, but assume it's "soon" And that ends the panel

Tim Mathison will voice Brad Chiles?! Jonny Quest's team will make an appearance?! Blue Falcon and Dynomutt doing the same?! Simply wow. I think the producers are being quite coy here on when the new season will begin. It can make no sense otherwise for them to not give a definitive start date. I wonder what "pilot" are they talking about? Cartoon Network would be very wise not to screw up the run of the episodes 27 to 52 like they did the last time, with a long break. This could only help ratings. Thanks for the lowdown, ScoobyAddict.

Maybe when they're talking about the pilot, they mean episode 52 will tie in to episode 1 "Beware the Beast From Below", that was the pilot.

I'm putting money on season two starting for the November sweeps.
Last time we saw Blue Falcon and Dynomutt was in the Harvey Birdman episode "Dead-o-mutt" (and before that in the Dexter's Lab episode "Dyno-Might"). Interesting to see how they've held up since they were devised in 1976. And I'm sure Frank Welker will still voice Dynomutt--now will Gary Owens reprise his role as Radley Crown/Blue Falcon?

thats probably the case.. I'm hoping to see some other old faces from sccobys past make appearances. I'm fully expecting there to be a third season, and perhaps a 4rg if the third season has good ratings..

I'm putting money on season two starting for the November sweeps. That's a good guess. I was thinking it would start sometime in Mid- September though, because Teletoon has been done airing episodes since May, and they might want to start airing new episodes so they wouldn't hae a 6-month break like CN did between Eps 13 and 14. They would probably want to start airing new episodes on CN at the same time as Teletoon, so CN would also start in September. Just a guess though, ccook could be right too.
