I prefer the season 1 theme.
Where can I find the unaired theme?

We played this in band class years ago. I wish they could re-record it. The bass and drums are good but you can't hear them well in the old recording.
Also, the bats at the beginning is a loop.

Where can I find the unaired theme? Can't remember where I found this anymore. I will let you know if I find it again.

I wanna hear it now! I like the original and the Whats New theme song done by bowling for soup (I think) for the live action film.

From my understanding, that one isn't unaired, it showed in the original airing of What a Night for a Knight, but is usually replaced in syndication. Or do you mean this one which apparently aired in the credits of the first episode? That one is very similar to the familiar one, but if you listen close it's different.

For the LONGEST time😩 in the pre-Web era, it killed me trying to figure out who sang Season 2 (my favorite).
Having started watching Scooby via syndicated reruns in 1983 (on WPIX-TV 11 in NYC) --- I had no idea (then) who Austin Roberts was. I just knew I liked the tingly Vox-sounding organ and, thinking: how cool it was to have Davy Jones(!) -the guy I'd thought it was until I found out the answer around 20 years ago(!)- singing a cartoon theme song.
So, every Friday (when, for some reason, the syndication package seemed to reserve the 1970 episodes for airing...1969's were shown Mondays, New Movie two-parters Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 1976 ones on Thursdays) I'd be sure to sit in front of our old GE console tv after school and eagerly anticipate the skewed, Addams-Family-looking mansion (which I later learned was a nod to H-B at the time having hired ex-Addams Family writer BILL LUTZ) with the upstairs light on in the window all awash in royal blue coming on the screen😊.
The first (original) version sounds too blah and rushed.

To me the season 2 theme was my favorite theme. It was very upbeat and sounded a lot better in my opinion. I do think that season 1 theme fit better with the overall theme of Where are You. Season 1 kinda had a more serious and foreboding sound compared to season 2 theme. Both are still iconic and amazing.
