While it is very charming, Pup Named Scooby Doo is just a product of it's time. The Mystery Map was a very nice representation of what a PN revival could be, but I like it as is. I don't think much could be added to elicit a revival but maybe babies will make a comeback in animation, who knows?

Maybe if Tom Ruegger was back on board. Has anyone floated the idea past him? He has talked about wanting to do an Animaniacs reboot (what would that entail, I wonder? Mindy aged up to a precocious first-grader? Pinky and the Brain creating an app to take over the world? Yakko, Wakko, and Dot mining bitcoin? Slappy Squirrel sticking dynamite down Miley Cyrus's pants?)
Actually, I think Be Cool is this generation's APNSC, isn't it? Toss in a few wild takes and maybe a few more two 11-minute short episodes, maybe even bring back guys like The Cheese Monster or Chickenstein, you could have something there....

Boomerang started airing APNSD in the mornings and SDMI in the evenings. It had been such a long time since I’d seen it, since I really had no urge to rewatch it since my childhood. But like stated above, I believe BCSD stole a few elements from this one, like the more unique personalities of each character, their quirks. After rewatching today, I’d happily await a fourth season of it. Unlike the baby versions of other shows, the plot of having them as pre-teens offers a lot of good material.

Mindy aged up to a precocious first-grader? Pinky and the Brain creating an app to take over the world? Yakko, Wakko, and Dot mining bitcoin? Slappy Squirrel sticking dynamite down Miley Cyrus's pants?) Well, I know Tom Ruegger is so far not involved with the impending "Animaniacs" revival, but that could change (hopefully). And if not, if WBA does a fourth season of "A Pup Named Scooby-Doo" they could still get Scott Jeralds, Laren Bright, Bill Matheny and Lane Raichert involved. Maybe even bring back Glen Kennedy to do some animation again (if WB forgives him for his "Tiny Toons" controversy.) And as I've also said, regarding the voice cast, I'd still have Frank Welker as young Scooby and Matthew Lillard as young Shaggy, but I'd also have Mindy Cohn voice young Velma, and Kellie Martin reprise the role of young Daphne, and of course Scott Menville reprise the role of Red Herring. (That should be easy, given Scott is with WBA voicing Robin in (echh) "Teen Titans Go.") And as for the intro, maybe they could finally fully animate this early intro animatic as seen here (the reason this probably didn't get fully animated was because it would've probably been a strain on Hanna-Barbera's old computer system of the time)... Oh, and I'd also probably get John Debney to do the music and maybe reuse his old background music tracks, along with lots of Hanna-Barbera sound effects to allow for consistency with the original episodes. (I would have Hacienda Post or DigiPost.TV do the sound editing, as they know how a cartoony Hanna-Barbera series should sound, compared to Advantage Audio, Atlas Oceanic Sound & Picture or Glenwood Editorial and their more realistic sound effects.)
