the ' it was only a dream' copout? No way, too anticlimatic asnd disappointing. besides , not even velma could think out something that complex and layered and put it off as one giant hoax.

So, for those who don't deal with alternate history, I can post a summary of the history on the story of Nibiru and the Annunaki.
Nibiru it's a rogue planet which would be in orbit around a failed Binary star in our galaxy. The supposition is because MOST galaxies are Binary systems. The thoughts on the subject are summarized as followed: They are 10,000 years more advanced that Earthlings though are several millions year old race. They stalled technologically at 10,000 years of advances, having discovered as much as they could.
They are most of the ancient gods shown in tribal glyphs They were able to aptly prepare for their planet's darkness and harnessed it's geothermal properties and live in surface bases and underground on Nibiru. They are the Grey's, not the reptilians or shapeshifters Their race is on the decline They would be known as the Annunaki Man once thrived and adapated their technology but they wiped them out, in the Atlantis legend. The current state of technological development of man is useless to them as knowledge is so distributed now as to eliminate any hope of using them as a worker race again. Man's mining of earth's resources recklessly is a danger to us and them. Earth was desireable because of it's temperate atmosphere. Their sensors are very good at pinpointing sources of elements in a planet's crust. The Annunaki had already stripped the earth of it's more precious near surface rare elements from fallen asteroids and comets long ago, explaining the long gap in visits as earth was less of a priority and the orbit of their planet was further out. This tradition lead to the human fascination and value of gold and silver as having innate value. The Anunaki now mine their elements using robotics in the van allen belt and the planetary moons.

Yeah, I know. Aside from the Blue Falcon episode, Season 2 hurt my feelings. BLAH. We'll see how these last episodes go.

I loved Season 2, but hated "Heart of Evil."

blue falcon was too obvuious a batman clone and mr e was reduced to a clownlike status insead of an overarching threat. besides we cant say we loved season 2 its not complete yet. we loved or hated the episodes SO Far, but the show is not done yet. dissection dissertations, and snide comments to followafer the finale i'm sure..

But, to get back to it, Sherriff Stone and the female Mayor are definitely getting serious.

I never felt "gay" vibes from Fred Jones, Sr. or Sheriff Stone. Their body language/demeanor would have suggested it, but that was not the case. Velma and Marcie, however...

I decided to ask Mitch Watson via Facebook about Mayor Jones and Sheriff Stone's relationship to see what he had to say on the subject. This is what I got in return.
"Hey Bridget, I can say without a doubt they were not gay. They were just very good friends. In truth, the Sheriff liked Mayor Jones far more than Mayor Jones liked the Sheriff, but it was hero worship more than anything else. Mayor Jones really didn't care about anything except for finding the treasure... and sometimes Fred."
After that, I said it would make a lot of sense if the ex-mayor were asexual.
"If the Mayor is asexual, it is unintentional. You are probably right, though. He really doesn't care about anything except the CURSE OF CRYSTAL COVE and what it is. Everything else -- including Fred -- comes a far second."
That sure explains a lot. Fred is the only reason why this guy isn't a completely selfish person, but that does not really help his case much. Also, Mayor Jones' obsession with finding out what the Curse of Crystal Cove is explains his fascination with monsters. He wanted them to be real rather than dudes in rubber masks.
Do you guys think he and Fred will end up reconciling in spite of everything that has happened?

its pretty obvious marcie and velma have a thing for each other. whether ot not they will reconcile before the end remains to be seen. and no the sheriff isnt gay, he and the mayor are quite the item. its hard to say whether his macho act is just a front to hide insecurity or incompetenmce, is well up to the viewer to decide.
