Hmm.. I sure hope that this isn't the only Scooby related thing that we're getting for the centenary celebration. It looks like they just put the theatrical stuff and the DTV movies from the last few years slapped the "best of" on it and called it day. Are they just getting lazier or what? If you want to give us something for the anniversary, then please put the original live action films on 4K. We should have gotten the first one last year! Thats all I'm asking for from you WB.

Some folks on my blog were talking about this same issue, and we came to a consensus that between this and the 50th Anniversary Collection in 2019, WB has been doing a really poor job creating anniversary sets that are actually engaging. They have plenty of unreleased episodes that they could have made a set of, and even if they didn't want to risk it with the Scrappy episodes or Get A Clue, they still haven't released The Scooby-Doo Show season 2 or Be Cool season 2, which would arguably be good sellers. They also have a pretty big catalog of films not released on Blu-Ray, so they could have also made a Blu-Ray set with some of the films not yet released on that format. At the very least, if they were going to go with re-releases. they should have taken the "best" thing seriously and chosen actual fan favorites. Zombie Island, Witch's Ghost, Alien Invaders, etc. would have been great choices for this, instead of films like Curse of the 13th Ghost and Return to Zombie Island, which aren't the best of anything lol. Overall I feel this is a pretty big disappointment, and a wasted opportunity on WB's part.

The two live-action movies and literally the last 8 Scooby movies? They really, really hate making good Scooby-Doo sets over at WB.
Personally, I would've gone with the Mook Animation Quadrilogy, the two live-action theatrical movies, and a movie focusing on each human character (Pirates Ahoy for Fred, Shaggy's Showdown for Shaggy, Frankencreepy for Velma, and Loch Ness for Daphne), since Scooby obviously takes center stage in every movie.
Actually, strike that. I would've gone with Scooby-Doo and Krypto Too!, SCOOB! Holiday Haunt, Scooby-Doo and the Haunted High Rise, and then the Mook Animation Quadrilogy and the Scrappy-Doo Trilogy.

I can’t believe Zombie Island and Witch’s Ghost aren’t on this! It's an extremely strange collection. I really really hope this means they're planning a separate Zombie Island release, but that's very hopeful at this point.

I can’t believe Zombie Island and Witch’s Ghost aren’t on this! I can't believe ZI's and 13 Ghosts' offensive sequels are on this! How can this be a "Best of WB" with the two worst Scooby Doo films making the cut?
At least Gourmet Ghost, the Batman crossover, and Happy Halloween are included, those films were good imo.

Actually, strike that. I would've gone with Scooby-Doo and Krypto Too!, SCOOB! Holiday Haunt, Scooby-Doo and the Haunted High Rise, and then the Mook Animation Quadrilogy and the Scrappy-Doo Trilogy. I'd pay twice, nay thrice the asking price if they did that. Going to take me a while to not feel sore about those three cancellations.

I'm only missing three from this set so I really can't justify the price, but it should be a great value for new collectors. I saw it at Walmart on the shelf yesterday!
