Are there any Scooby movies for which you found the concept appealing, but you felt they didn't quite stick the landing?
Obviously, I feel, Curse of the 13th Ghost (and Return to Zombie Island - though that one really didn't need a sequel in the first place tbh) is in dire need of a do-over. Have it be a more sensical conclusion to the storyline that doesn't focus on Velma's ego needing there to be no real ghosts as much. In fact, I would've loved NOT seeing Velma and Fred again and seeing how modern writers would deal with that! And of course - to include the proper return of Scrappy!

I actually really like the base idea of Return to Zombie Island - a film studio wanting to make a movie about one of the gang's adeventures is a really cool meta concept. I have more thoughts about how that film could've worked as an actual sequel (since it really seems like it's supposed to bre more of an homage) but I'll save those for when I review it in my watch through. Still though, I think that concept was brilliant and it would be cool to see it explored in a better way. Overall I feel like most of the Scooby films - the ones I've seen anyway since I've missed a few - hit the nail on the head with their concepts and plots. I think the one I would like to see re-done would be the plot of Haunted Hollywood. I feel like that movie had an amazing idea and themes, but the LEGO art style really restricted what it could do. I might come back to this thread later if there's a movie who's concept I feel like could be done better, but looking at the list now, nothing really sparks a strong "this didn't work as well as it could have" feeling other then what I mentioned.

I'd love a Ghoul School retool. I'm a huge fan of all the actual Ghoul School parts of that movie, but half the movie is just uninteresting, with the random boy's school and the forgettable villain. I think bringing the Grimwood Ghouls back would be a great idea; it'd be marketable, cause it's appealing to people's nostalgia, and I think it'd probably do a better job with the concept now that they're aware of what people liked from that movie.

I think it really depends on how it's done. I don't want to have a sequel where they don't pay any attention to the original tone, like they did with Curse of the 13th Ghost and Return to Zombie Island. I really liked how the Sandy Duncan and Cher Guess Who episodes built off the classic The New Scooby-Doo Movies episodes, so if they could do something like that, I'd be totally in. I guess my answer would be Ghoul School like Cometcrystal, I'm just a bit skeptical after those other two movies.

If done right I wouldn't have minded a sequel to Reluctant Werewolf, I mean Fred and the girls going on an adventure that only had Shaggy and Scooby involved would be neat. However I wouldn't want Velma trying to go on that entire adventure proving these monsters are fake, unless it proved her wrong than that would be great. Shaggy being a wearwolf again would be fun too.

First live action movie redone without Scrappy as the antagonist
Late 1980's movies redone with Daphne included
Curse of the 13th Ghost and Return to Zombie Island with being respectful towards their original sources
Stage Fright but without any Fraphne

Yeah I would like a sequel to reluctant werewolf if done right and I would like to see how the gang would react with shaggy transforming into a werewolf I know that velma might be skeptical about this but to fix this they should have the rest of the gang think shes crazy or have a scene where they try to unmask werewolf shaggy but the ''mask'' wouldn't come off but yeah a sequel would be cool if done right.

The first live action film but with Craig Titley's script I LOVE that script. Everyone's plotlines are so great. Fred living in the Mystery Machine feels like such a good origin story.
