I thought it was clear by now, that Warner no longer have any faith that Scooby-Doo can carry a movie of his own. Just because the next few are going to because the next few are going to be crossovers doesn't mean that they are going to stop solo scooby doo films altogether plus they have been doing crossover since 1972 doesn't that mean that they had no faith in scooby doo at the very start and scooby doo can carry a movie weather or not it is a crossover imo. The last original Scooby-Doo movie was in 2017, with no sign of another original Scooby-Doo movie in the near future. We have only had crossovers (Camelot, Celebrities, DC, LEGO, WWE) and a few poor attempts at sequels since then.

Does the sword and the scoob even count as a crossover and yes their are no signs of a original scooby doo movie currently but who knows their might be some in the future we don't know yet and even if the future is full of crossovers it doesn't mean they can't be good they have proven before that they can make good crossovers for example scooby doo and batman brave and the bold, Happy halloween heck even the kiss one you don't have to agree but that what I think.

Yes, I'd count reliance on another old HB property as part of the plot as a "crossover".

I'm all for this. Love DC, the Krypto series was pretty cool, and this crossover just makes so much sense. I wonder if we'll see any DC villains in this one? Maybe another round at a Joker and Penguin team up? BTW, so does this count as a Scooby DTV, a DC DTV, or both? Sad if this takes up one spot from each's schedule.

I would count Scooby-Doo: The Sword and the Scoob as a cross over, as they went back in time to Camelot, rather than just using the themes of the legends only. I did enjoy Scooby-Doo! & Batman: The Brave and the Bold, and I'm looking forward to seeing Krypto, but I miss the older era (2010 - 2012?) of good original mysteries.

I thought Mystery Map was pretty good. (A little weird, but very enjoyable) But, yikes, that was nearly eight years ago already! Yeah, the DTV department hasn't exactly been the most original recently, has it? Granted, a lot of the crossovers have been really fun, to be fair. But it would be nice to see more traditional Scooby mysteries.
Or a return to the Mook style "real monsters" plots.

In my opinion it was perfect. It was dark, exciting yet still stuck to the classic Scooby man in the mask format. It proved we could have a movie style plot/script while still respecting the core of what Scooby represents.

Are we sure this is happening? The year is almost over and we have no news on this at all. No trailer, no nothing.

It's not happening this year anymore, but I think it's very likely we'll get it next year. Annie De Brock's website originally listed a 2021 date (which is where the original thread title came from), but that has been removed likely because it was switched with Courage. I'm guessing we'll get this early next year. I fixed the thread title as well to remove the "coming in 2021" part.

The DC League of Super Pets movie will be released in May 2022, so I think an early Spring premiere for this Scooby cross-over seems plausible.

Im scared 👀 Usually we get a trailer two or three months before the dtv scooby doo movie is released so if the scooby doo and krypto crossover is being released near the released date of the legaue of super pets film then we probably won't get a trailer until febuary or maybe march or something.

I still can't even find any articles about this film. Wikipedia acts like it is not supposed to exist.
