If there's one thing the original series knew how to do - it's put the gang in some of the creepiest and interesting locations.
Funland from "Foul Play in Funland" has always been my personal favourite setting of the series. They really left no stone unturned when the gang were hunting down Charlie, in the amusement park. Just about every ride and place of interest, within the park, was explored in the 20 minute duration. They got ultimate milage out of this location and it still feels so cool and classic, to this day.
Another few at the top of my list would be:
The Graveyard of Ships - "A Clue for Scooby Doo"
Bourgeard Sanders Mansion - "A Night of Fright is No Delight
Haunted Mansion - "Haunted House Hang-Up"

There’s so many great ones. I gotta go with:
1. Kingston mansion- What the Hex Going On (maybe the best of all time) 2. The puppet theater- Backstage Rage (perfect setting for maybe the scariest Scooby Doo episode ever) 3. The Old Mill- Who’s Afraid of the Big Bad Werewolf (underrated one here, can’t think of any other setting like it off the too of my head) 4. Funland- Foul Play in Funland (best part of the episode) 4. Haunted mansion- Haunted House Hang Up (A classic) 5. Mansion- A Night of Fright is No Delight (^) 6. Circus- Bedlam in the Bigtop (CREEPY) 7. Dr Jekyll’s house- Nowhere to Hyde (I love some classic haunted houses) 8. Franken Castle- A Gaggle of Galloping Ghosts (one of the greatest castle settings) 9. Gold City- Mine Your Own Business (A lot of details and I love the old west ghost town 10. Swamp and boat- Which Witch is Which (pretty spooky)
