I don't know about everyone else but i loved the WNSD holiday specials and I was hoping we could see some from SDMI. It seems unlikely since they skipped a Halloween special but i am still hoping. What are your thoughts.

Since they haven't aired any new episodes for Scooby Doo Mystery Incorporated yet in December, it's probably unlikely. I would like to see some more holiday specials, too.

I would too. They could have done some great holiday episodes this year with SD:MI. Too bad they dropped the ball on that!

Doesn't include Scooby, but this week...tonight maybe I can't recall...Bommerang is airing "Casper's First Christmas".
I saw it last year and it's pretty cute. It's a crossover special from 1979 I think that includes most of the Hanna-Barbera animal characters. The H-B gang come across an old abandoned haunted house on Christmas Eve in a snow storm, and a mean ghost there tries to frighten them away.
So it's a spookyish HB cartoon, only without Scooby. I'd think most Scooby fans would still like it though, unless you don't like Casper in general or something.

I think you would only get a special if it fitted in the story arc. They have a lot less room for manoeuvre esp with CN acting dumb on release dates. I think the Mystery Solvers State Final episode was as close to a special as you are going to get.

I agree too. I doubt a holiday special will come of SDMI.

Obviously there won't be any holiday specials for SDMI, but I wouldn't mind seeing some future holiday specials, either as half hour shows(a la the holiday specials from the WNSD era) or full 2 hour movies/direct to dvd features(which might be too long).
For example: some of the elements in Scooby Doo and the Witch's Ghost might translate into a good Thanksgiving special.
Also, I wouldn't mind seeing a New Year's Eve type episode where the gang solves a mystery at a new year's eve party. Or just an episode where the gang talks with their relatives and each other about what's happened to them the previous year, or something like that.

I would be okay with seeing more holiday episodes, but I'm not going to be begging for them. They will come soon enough I'm sure.

Well we have 1 new holiday special coming in October. "Haunted Holidays". (not SD:MI tho I know) That New Years Eve idea is cool though. Like if the had to solve the mystery before the ball drops.
But knowing CN, yeah it wouldn't air until July.
