Meh episode. Laila was a good guest star but overall this was nothing groundbreaking. The robot design was great tho and I thought it was nice that it posed as a real threat for the gang

I thought the robot was a cool villain! Laila did a good job as the guest star, and to me this felt like it could have been a What's New episode. But why did Shaggy imagine his inner self as Scooby when meditating? Lol

Geez, there's that stupid fire sprinkler cliche again! If this were real life, Velma would know well enough that pulling the fire alarm would NOT set off a building's fire sprinklers! And not just that, but pulling a false fire alarm is a SERIOUS offense, and Velma could've gotten in major trouble for it! At least Shaggy pulling the fire alarm in "Revenge of the Swamp Monster" didn't set off any sprinklers...
The moment that redhead lady said she worked in real estate, I figured she was going to be another red herring, like quite a few real estate workers have been in this series. Heh, loved Shaggy imagining himself as Scooby-Doo! I still suspect he may be a furry, like in that fanfic I recently wrote taking place at the furry convention... And then we get that annoyed catering guy that is clearly another red herring!
So the robot destroys things by punching with fists. Pretty fitting for an episode guest-starring the daughter of Muhammad Ali. If this were "Scooby-Doo: Mystery Incorporated," the robot would be blowing stuff up with lasers and such!
Scooby and Shaggy ringing the fight bell reminded me of the 1969 Looney Tunes short "Fistic Mystic" with Merlin the Magic Mouse doing so, using that same WB fight bell sound effect (yet despite it being on the Hanna-Barbera SoundFX Library, "Looney Tunes Cartoons" doesn't even use it, instead preferring to use H-B's OTHER fight bell sound effect!)
OK, so the catering guy WAS the villain, except unlike other past culprits that seem the least suspicious, this one was such a blatant suspect that I figured he was yet another red herring like we've seen in many past episodes.
