Another good episode. Tim seemed like a good guest star and very into his role. The reference to Shaggy's red shirt in this one was super unexpected and awesome! The pacing of the mystery seemed a bit off to me though.

This was such a good episode. I felt like it stayed very true to the Scooby formula in a classic but modern way idk how to explain it. Also, the red-shirt shaggy reference was amazing. The monster was one of the best monster designs we’ve had in a long time and I just enjoyed the plot and mystery a looot. Tim Gunn was a helluva great guest as well. I laughed out loud quite a few times, especially at the trap, which is a first for me. I really thought it was funny and ingenious. Really good episode

And now we're back to having the guest star go with Shaggy and Scooby-Doo when the gang splits up. Aww, I was hoping the red shirt in Shaggy's closet imagination would've been his, not Scooby's! Probably a reference to how memetic Shaggy's red shirt he wore in the "13 Ghost" series and "Hanna-Barbera Superstars 10" TV movies has become somewhat of a meme. And once again we're back to having the ghost/monster really be a person the gang already met and least suspect, one that I was able to figure out right away! I loved Shaggy lampshading that with, "It's always the nice ones!" Wow, they are still overusing that " take zip" sound effect a lot. I lost count, but I heard it way too many times in this episode. But I guess it's not that much different from "What's New Scooby-Doo" using that H-B "wild scramble" sound effect at least once an episode (even with Wile E. Coyote!), "Scooby-Doo: Mystery Incorporated" overusing that quick stereotypical " wood break" sound, and "Wabbit"/"New Looney Tunes" using the H-B " tube take" sound effect at least once an episode.
