This was just okay. Joey felt like he was just a side character and I felt he could have had a bigger presence. The tree monster was a very original villain!
Also, did anyone else think Scooby being in a hot dog bun was a little disturbing lol? Scooby's song with lyrics such as "boil me until I burst" was also kinda disturbing haha

Heh, I enjoyed how Haggerty's mascot was a dead-on copy of Scooby-Doo! Couldn't Mystery Inc. consider suing the company? Very different from when villains like the Ape Man, Chameleon and J.C. Chasez would intentionally impersonate Scooby, or my cosplaying as him for fun! Ha! I liked the subversion with the Shaggy and Scooby-shaped shrubs that they don't bother hiding behind. I also enjoyed Joey Chestnut pointing out how Shaggy and Scooby already did the celebrity introduction after Fred, Velma and Daphne do so. Heh, I was hoping before the mascot performer quit, he and Scooby would've engaged in a mirror routine, to which Scooby finally realized how much the mascot looks like him! But now I want to get a hot dog costume like the mascot had and wear it with my dog paws and Scooby-Doo mask! Hey, I see a bunch of obscure cosplays at conventions every year! (Except this one for obvious reasons...)

What a weird episode. After the Kristen Schaal one it looks like they’re going for a dumbed down version of the characters and the animation motions look like Teen Titans Go’s. The plant monster was a cool design, the snappy animation made some jokes enjoyable but overall it was a bland episode. Joey Chestnut was just.. there. Also the mystery was so short I felt like
