Watching the episode on the Boomerang app now. Geez, they blew a perfect opportunity to use the "Pup Named Scooby-Doo" designs for that flashback to when they were children... And then when the toy van spins on Scooby's head they use the WB "long spinning whistle." Reminds me of when I heard it used for Scooby-Doo running off in "Scooby-Doo: Mystery Incorporated" while Daffy Duck ran off to the H-B "temple block riot" on "The Looney Tunes Show" (switching around the sound effects for both franchises!) Yet Advantage Audio never bothered to use it on "Wabbit"/"New Looney Tunes!" At least the new "Looney Tunes Cartoons" series uses the WB "long spinning whistle" as well...
And once again, I was able to figure out who the monster really was. They almost always make it the one the gang least suspects.

This episode was really good aside from one thing. The mystery was fantastic and I LOVED the monster design, especially it it just sprouts wings outta nowhere. Kristen was a decent guest star aside from one problem, her voice. Her voice is like scratching a chalkboard. I hate her voice. This was definitely a great episode and I can overlook Kristen's voice, but that was definitely the biggest downfall here.

This was a great episode! You could tell how into the role Kristen was and I loved how she was trying to pretend to be different members of the gang. The monster design was super original too, especially when it sprouted wings! 10/10 One of the best episodes of the series!

Alright, so the intro looks very eerie already. I think we don’t get enough hospital settings In Scooby-Doo cuz it can turn into some creepy stuff for kids (ie. the harum scarum sanitarium one of the best episodes of the franchise), but yeah the monster looks creepy and original so I like that. I liked how it grabbed the guy by the legs thats a well done scene.
Am I the only one thinking the animation changed from the first season? The way they move is different, more roboty. Nice background plot for the monster! I like the way Kristen knows them since they were kids and how they used a new design from when they were children. Cute scene. So far Kristen seems very into her role.
Funny scene when they open the door and find the monster. Kristen sounds like she could be bestie with Shaggy and Scooby. Im loving how Kristen is interacting with the gang, she’s adorable even tho some might hate her voice. The Monica scene was hilarious. A door running gag already? Ugh. She blends in so well with Scooby and Shaggy’s comedy!! A reused character? That seemed very out of place so I guess hes the culprit. Oh yes, I like how Kristen’s gags will revolve around finding which one of the characters she resembles the most.
Well those were nice gags and I knew the monster was gonna be the reused character. Overall it was quite an original episode meant to be more comedic than any of the other even tho some jokes fell flat. Tho I totally appreciated the fact that Kristen was very into her character and gave it her quirkiest twist because that’s who she is in the end. Nice one!
