Another bland boring episode. Now I wanna know which one of the writers went out to his team and said "the crowd should start jumping around like monkey" and why was it necessary after having two monkey jokes in the episode? Possibly one of the worst ones thus far. These episodes are lacking creativity in the plot, in the shticks and in the dialogues.

I didn't mind this episode. There was an actual mystery that was present, and the gargoyle was well designed. The monkey Street performer joke was stupid, but that's my only gripe. While this wasn't one of my favorites, it was well made.

This was a decent episode. I didn't mind that it was essentially a reimagining of "Ready to Scare" and the gargoyle looked like it was from Be Cool. It was fun to see the gang already in-progress solving the mystery for something different at the beginning of the episode.
I didn't like the monkey jokes though or the repeated "Gigi Hadid!" holy sounding music.

Replacing artwork in a museum with fakes? "Inspector Gadget" already did that back in 1983!
I could tell right away Frank Welker provided the monkey's vocal effects; it sounded exactly like Abu from "Aladdin" or Monkey from "Dexter's Laboratory" or Curious George, all of whom Welker voiced. "Scooby-Dooby Doors" with subway trains? That's different!
Heh, at first I suspected Big Pete, but then when I saw him conspicuously leave the audience of the fashion show before the gargoyle appeared, I figured he was probably innocent. A nice throwoff for a change!
